[Oh no, they're climbing onto her head to cry into her hair.]

[He knows his sister well enough to know that just pointing out that toys don't have feelings is not going to convince her of anything. He sighs and walks across the room, shoving some of the animals aside so he can put a hand on her shoulder.]

Look, you still love all of your animals more than most people will ever love any inanimate object. They're lucky to have you.

[Some of the stuffed animals fall off of her, like they're literally wilting in the face of logic. Mabel sniffles.]

Really?

Yeah, really! [Dipper laughs a little.] I mean, when’s the last time any of my stuffed animals have seen the light of day? Besides the ones that you’ve stolen, of course.

[Which is probably all of them. He really hasn’t paid much attention.]

You're right. It could be way worse. At least they have a place in my bed even if their place in my heart is just a liiittle bit smaller than it should be.

[And with a pop, the room goes back to normal. The stuffed animals are back in their pile on the bed and on the floor, and Mabel breathes a sigh of relief.] Oh boy. That was close. Thanks, bro-bro.

[Dipper exhales, glancing around to check that everything's back to normal.]

This is officially a really weird event.

[But at least it's... over?]

Yeah...

[she squints at him.] Wait. Did you not get affected at all?

[krmvgivv]

Huh. I guess... not?

[Dipper looks around his room, tensing like he expects the world to prove him wrong. It does not, just this once.]

Unless it's gonna strike later. But I haven't noticed anything.

Lame! [She wanted to pull you out of some embarrassing guilt trip, too. X(

The second she says that word, however, her demeanor shifts, because oh no. She just thought of something.] Oh crud. Dipper. Who do we know who feels anxious over everything?

[He propels himself off the bed and starts running for the dor.]
