Summary: Catch-all log for The Good Place event!
The Story:

Welcome to the Good Place! Your character, tragically, has died in their world. They might not remember how (or maybe they do!) but it’s okay either way because conveniently they have earned enough points to go to the Good Place when they die! They’ve earned a house that they have been told is perfectly suited to them (it is probably not, but who are they to question the universe?!) in an absolutely delightful and quaint little Neighborhood with a frozen yogurt shop on every block. It’s almost irritatingly perfect!

Most importantly though, someone will be living with your character. Someone very, very special - their soulmate, hand-picked from the billions on Earth! Sure, it may not be who (or even what) they expected, but this is what they’ve earned from the good life they’ve lived in your world. They deserve this! They really, truly do.

Everyone is welcome to add details to what exactly is in the Neighborhood - everyone has different standards for what constitutes an "objectively good but still mediocre" neighborhood experience, after all!

She nods with a deep breath, before pointing to the rest of the house with a sigh. "This is ... interesting. You get the whole 'you're dead, surprise!' speech too?"

Yeah, he gets it and figures he'll just get the Elephant in the room out of the way.

"I hate spiders."

He also hates admitting he hates spiders. As for the rest of it, "I did, can't remember how I died though. Seems like something I'd remember."

"Me too."

Not remembering how she died, not not liking spiders. Instead, she just looks around at the fuzzy little monstrosities, before turning back to her roommate with an eyebrow raise.

"We could get rid of 'em if you want?"

Why would this place hand out spiders? That's the real question.

"That would be...great really."

Seriously, he doesn't want to deal with them At. ALL.

"Anything in here you hate?"

"Not that I've found yet, but the night is still young." And with that she will start gathering up the spiders, getting ready to release them out into the world or into the garbage can, depending on the medium. "I don't scare easy, though."

Carol gets a chuckle for that.

"I usually don't either but after spending a diplomatic dinner watching a group of alien spiders eat their meal, it changes your opinion."

That was a terrifying dinner. He was never a fan of spiders, but that night was memorable and not in a good way.

She winces. Yeah, that definitely doesn't sound fun. "God, some aliens just really have no manners."

And that goes for ones with and without mandibles.

Don't get him started on the Klingons. From what he's heard, their food is alive.

"Run into a few of those yourself?"

"Oh yeah. I've spent the last twenty five years off-planet. Pretty much all I know is aliens."

She lost a good chunk of her memory in the accident that gave her her powers, and she's still trying to piece some of those things together. Aliens are actually much more comfortable for her.
