Summary: Catch-all log for The Good Place event!
The Story:

Welcome to the Good Place! Your character, tragically, has died in their world. They might not remember how (or maybe they do!) but it’s okay either way because conveniently they have earned enough points to go to the Good Place when they die! They’ve earned a house that they have been told is perfectly suited to them (it is probably not, but who are they to question the universe?!) in an absolutely delightful and quaint little Neighborhood with a frozen yogurt shop on every block. It’s almost irritatingly perfect!

Most importantly though, someone will be living with your character. Someone very, very special - their soulmate, hand-picked from the billions on Earth! Sure, it may not be who (or even what) they expected, but this is what they’ve earned from the good life they’ve lived in your world. They deserve this! They really, truly do.

Everyone is welcome to add details to what exactly is in the Neighborhood - everyone has different standards for what constitutes an "objectively good but still mediocre" neighborhood experience, after all!

Entrapta pauses and looks at him in surprise.

"I guess? It doesn't really matter where I sleep."

She certainly doesn't seem scandalized by the idea of sharing a bed with him regardless.

"Do you want me to sleep with you?"

[angewiesen]

"Doesn't that seem like the kind of thing soulmates would do?"

Jean didn't seem totally scandalized either. He'd slept in all sorts of places with all sorts of people out of the necessity of circumstance. It only faintly registered as possibly intimate to him. Especially with someone he didn't know at all, and felt no real attraction to.

"I feel like I should be happier about this."

"Why?"

Entrapta herself isn't happy or unhappy with the situation. She's more annoyed at the interruption to her work than she is at the situation they've found themselves in.

[angewiesen]

"Isn't finding a soulmate supposed to be one of the... I dunno, best parts of life?" Jean was enough of a romantic to believe that, at least. He wasn't so totally unconcerned that he didn't think about it at all, like Entrapta probably was. "To have it done for you sounds like it should be a good deal to me, but this isn't all that exciting."

"I don't know!" She shrugs cheerfully. "Being excited about it might just get in the way of getting other things done. There are more important things in life. Probably."

[angewiesen]

"Well, sure, but..." he leaned his elbows on the table and propped his chin in his hand. "It's still supposed to be enjoyable somehow. Like, by having someone around that totally gets you. Or..."

Other benefits. It was at that point that Jean actually had the good grace to keep dirty details to himself. Especially when he could see that the thought obviously hadn't crossed Entrapta's mind.

"Or?"

She looks at him expectantly.

[angewiesen]

"If it's something you can't pick up on your own, it's probably best for me to keep it to myself."

He didn't want to be a creeper, alive or dead.

She looks put out by that for all of half a second before she's moved on.

"Well there must be some reason we were chosen for each other, right?"
