+ THIS is the Bad Place! - MINGLE LOG +

Who: EVERYONE
Where: The Neighborhood!
When: 4/26 - 4/30
Rating: PG-13, warn if going higher - no swearing by event law!
Summary: Catch-all log for The Good Place event!
The Story:

Welcome to the Good Place! Your character, tragically, has died in their world. They might not remember how (or maybe they do!) but it’s okay either way because conveniently they have earned enough points to go to the Good Place when they die! They’ve earned a house that they have been told is perfectly suited to them (it is probably not, but who are they to question the universe?!) in an absolutely delightful and quaint little Neighborhood with a frozen yogurt shop on every block. It’s almost irritatingly perfect!

Most importantly though, someone will be living with your character. Someone very, very special - their soulmate, hand-picked from the billions on Earth! Sure, it may not be who (or even what) they expected, but this is what they’ve earned from the good life they’ve lived in your world. They deserve this! They really, truly do.

Everyone is welcome to add details to what exactly is in the Neighborhood - everyone has different standards for what constitutes an "objectively good but still mediocre" neighborhood experience, after all!

Need more information, or maybe a soulmate? Head on over to the plot post! Prose or [Action Brackets] are both welcome!

"I doubt we're able to die again..." It rhymes, he'll give it that, but it doesn't make sense. Pike's about to join her in hating it soon enough.

"At least it didn't give you a house full of Spiders."

"I may find out," she says cheerfully, though she stops, frowning at him as her head cants to one side, peering at him.

"Dude, seriously? I mean, you're not just making up something, right? Is that your house?"

"That's the house," he says with a gesture toward a southwestern-esque looking ranch. "It started with a tarantula collection, then it just got worse."

Really, it's bad. Pike may never sleep soundly again, but at least spiders don't sing.

"Whoa, that's crazy. Like pinned to a board or living and creepy and crawling? I mean, tarantulas aren't evil. Well, some of them aren't. Some are poisonous." Which is not helping, she's sure.

"Mine's all like the city. It's gross."

Both. I grew up in the desert, and seen my fair share of Arachnid like space aliens.

[He is NOT a fan. At. All.]

Which city?

"Oh, what desert? I am from way north of a desert, but I'd love to visit one." She's thought about it for college. Some place dry with less rain and and not all green everywhere. "So yeah, that sucks. How is that heaven for you then?"

She makes a face at that, nose wrinkling up. Nope, not right.

"And I'm from Gravity Falls. It's in Oregon." Because no one knows.

"The Mojave Desert. When I'm from, it's a little more habitable, but there's still a lot of natural desert."

Adding 50 miles of Parkland around the center of town was a nice touch, but his ranch was on the edge of that and the back faced the wild. But it did look a lot like the one this place gave him.

"I don't know if it is, aside from the house itself." He always thought he'd be retiring there someday.

He nods, "Oregon's...the exact opposite of a desert, everyone I know from there seems to love it though."
