Summary: Mingle log for the Dream Side event! After the girls’ seance, every single person in Wonderland, no matter what they were doing at the time, will black out. When they awake, they will find themselves in a strange and twisted world outside of time - a different one than usual.
The Story:

After the girls’ seance, every single person in Wonderland, no matter what they were doing at the time, will black out. When they awake, they will find themselves in a strange and twisted world outside of time - a different one than usual. Elements may seem familiar, but it's clearly a different place.

Welcome, Mirrors and Reals, to DREAM SIDE. The sky above is dark and speckled with far-off stars but the world below is unnaturally lit and bright. There is a mansion at its center, but it is warped and unusual, as though someone stretched it like taffy, but if you try to enter it, you'll find that the door is not just locked - it appears to be painted on, as though it is just static scenery. It isn't a mansion that can be entered, just a cartoon-ish mansion cobbled together from dozens of memories.

Dream Side, as you might have guessed from the name, is not a static place. It is built from the scraps of dreams of those who cross into that side of Wonderland. Characters on this side of Wonderland are not asleep, but the world they are in is shaped by the contents of their dreams. Unlike the glass between Real Side and Mirror Side, there does not seem to be an obvious thing connecting this Side of Wonderland to the other two - at least, not something visible.

They are not alone in this world either - because the girls were conducting a seance, they have inadvertently called upon the dead. For each time your character has died a mansion death, there will be a ghostly copy of them wandering Dream Side. They will look as standard ghosts do - pale and translucent, looking as they did the moment they died. They will have a tendency to haunt their current living version (and those who care about them), but they will not be able to speak directly with them. For Mirrors, these ghosts can be Unmade versions of themselves, if they were ever Unmade. Some ghosts might be hostile and some might just gently haunt from a distance - it will depend on the character and what they would do if they were a ghost how they behave.

[Dipper figured he might find Mabel here as soon as he saw it. He's hoping he's wrong, but he's not at all surprised to see her in the swivel chair when he pushes the door open.]

...your dream place at least smells better than mine. I'll give it that.

[She gives the chair one more good spin so that when she steps off of it, she's dizzy and trying to walk a straight line to her brother.

Spoilers: she cannot walk a straight line.] Where was your dream? I keep ending up back here, and I'm kinda okay with that.

I don't think you ever visited the Man-Cave. It smells like testosterone and repressed emotions.

[He grabs her sleeve and tugs her back into something resembling his direction.]

You're okay coming back here? I thought you hated this place.

[powerofmabel]

In comparison to all the other places in Dreamland, it's at least comfortable and familiar.... [She sounds a little drunk, but that's just the dizziness speaking. She shakes it off with a beleaguered sigh.] I didn't know where else to go.

[krmvgivv]

Aw, Mabel. [Dipper wraps an arm over her shoulder.] I don't know where to go either. But we can figure it out, okay? There's gotta be a better option.

[powerofmabel]

[Something about his arm on her shoulder feels weirdly oppressive and not as comforting as she expected and she wiggles out from underneath it and puts some distance between them under the guise of pacing.] But this is probably where Alice'll come to, right? I need to find her...

[Yes, good excuse. Anything but the truth. Anything to make Dipper somehow fail to realize how much she wants to stay here. She does not need another court episode.]

[...something's up with Mabel. She's not usually antsy. Restless, sure. Energetic, yeah. But antsy and frustrated and... nervous? This is all wrong. And worse, she doesn't want him to know how wrong it is. Somehow, that's the most concerning part.]

Why would Alice come here? We should go out and look for her if you want to find her.

[powerofmabel]

No! [Her voice comes out way more irritated than she'd meant it to and for a moment she's actually stunned at her own reaction. She blinks, recoils a bit, and begins to fold her arms into her sweater, leaving empty sleeves dangling as she hugs herself.] You don't know! Alice would totally want to come here. It's made of yarn and happiness.

[krmvgivv]

...it was a prison Bill made to keep you from helping to stop him. It's made of maggots and horror.

[Does she seriously not remember that?]

[powerofmabel]

Yeah, but Bill's not here, so why would all of his stuff be in here? It's mine.

[She remembers. She really does, but this whole thing is awful and she wants to stay in a good dream. It's just for a little while, right?] Or d'you wanna wander around the Unknown so you can die again?

[krmvgivv]

[Dipper takes a step back, eyes widening.]

Come on, Mabel, that's not fair.

[powerofmabel]

[No, it really isn't, and seeing that look in his eyes makes her snap back to reality with a cold, hard thud, but now that it's out, she isn't sure where she goes from there- she's left with her hands slapped over her mouth to prevent her from saying anything further. It's not fair, but it's true enough. If they go somewhere else, then their safety isn't guaranteed.

But does she feel that way or does Mabelland want her to feel that way?

She slowly lowers her hands.]

I'm sorry. I just... don't know what to do. Alice and those girls really messed this up, huh?

[krmvgivv]

[Dipper steps in again, apology immediately accepted. He knows Wonderland (and Mabeland, really) are good at messing with them. He can't hold it against her.]

They really did. But we're gonna figure it out, okay? There's no way we're stuck here forever.

[powerofmabel]

Right. It's just like Christmas... But in June.

[It's sad that Wonderland has made Christmas equivalent to "insanity," but Dipper always thought that. Wonderland basically proved a point he's been making since they were old enough to understand the situation.] And that always wraps up... Usually because of a Queen. Not that we have more than one right now, and I haven't even seen the Red Queen.
