[A – 12/17 – Mirror only]

Ugh, for real?!

[Ryoko's mirror can be found looking around the Real Side, an irritated look on her face because this is definitely not what she'd planned on. No, she'd been keeping a low profile since her Real returned and now this? Not cool. Not cool at all.]

Guess I'll have to see what little miss forgetful's up to in person then.

[And she'll set off to find her, but appears to be taking her time getting there as she'll stop to chat with pretty much anyone. There's a few faces in Wonderland she's especially interested in chatting with, but she's pretty personable. She won't be ignoring people for not being in a notebook or saying they have nothing to do with her. Nope. None of that.]

[B - 12/18-12/19 – Ryoko or her Mirror]

[For the next two days, Ryoko and her Mirror can both be found throughout the mansion. The Mirror will be her usual unpleasant self, not too different from her arrival on the Real Side, but Ryoko will look increasingly stressed out and worried. It's easy enough to chalk it up everything falling into a terrifying black void, but there might be more going on here.]

[C – 12/19, Junko]

[Things definitely aren't getting better, but there's at least one new face in Wonderland. Or not so new if anyone remembers her from the last time. She can be found looking out at the void instead of getting on the network to announce her arrival. To be fair, it's kind of distracting.]

Man, that looks bad. I wonder if it's going to keep getting closer.

[She definitely seems worried about it, which makes sense. It wasn't here the last time and it looks pretty bad, right?]

Wish Wonderland had picked a better time to bring me back here.

[Because that is absolutely what happened here. Yup.]

[D – 12/20-12/23 – Ryoko]

[As things go from bad to worse and the void continues to grow, Ryoko seems be getting more and more frazzled. She doesn't look like she's been sleeping much and seems to be startled by a lot. It's not that her condition's getting worse or anything, it's just with the state of Wonderland, the mirrors running around (though hers hasn't been seen in a few days), and a certain new arrival, there's a lot to be worried about probably. She'll still talk to people, even if she is jumpy about different things, Might be a good idea to, in fact. Because...]

[E – 12/24 – Junko]

[Because by the time Christmas Eve rolls around and the closets stop working, Ryoko doesn't seem to be around in Wonderland anymore. Her mirror's nowhere to be found either, though she probably hasn't been seen in a few days at this point, who knows what happened there.

But hey on the bright side Junko's still here and can be found sipping a cup of cocoa and humming happy birthday to herself. With the void and everything, it's entirely possible she's lost it. Or equally strange, she might be just be in high spirits about today despite...everything else going on.]

[ Has Ange noticed the mirrors have gone all weird? Sure, it's hard not to, even when you tend to avoid them like Ange does. But that doesn't mean she has noticed that there's a duplication going on of the amount of people in the mansion all of a sudden.

So when she spots Ryoko in the hallway, she has no idea that it isn't the real one. After all, if she had known, she wouldn't just call out to her with a wave to try and draw her attention. ]

Hey. Are you doing okay?

[ Not that she thinks the other looks off just yet, but she figures this void stuff is probably ten times freakier with Ryoko's kind of memory trouble. ]

Okay?

[No, not really, but hey...this is one of Ryoko's friends, so she'll play, well, not nice, but she won't be as awful as she could be. So there's kind of a confused expression on her face, it looks like a face Ryoko might make, so that's good. But what might be off is that the mirror doesn't seem to have a notebook in hand.]

I don't know, is there a reason I wouldn't be okay?

[entreats]

Well.. you know. The gaping void out there. [ Maybe it'd help if Ange didn't make it sound like some sort of trivial problem. Like this is about spilled milk rather than the world unraveling at its edges. But until proven otherwise, she's just going to assume it's another one of the Regular Weird Stuff that happens here and always ends up okay.

But as she glances at the other, she finally does seem to notice something off about her. ]

Oh...that kind of thing has nothing to do with me.

[The void, the notebook, none of that's important as far as she's concerned. Sure she's irritated about the void and being shoved onto this side, but it's not the kind of thing that really ruins her fun.

And that sure sounded like something Ryoko would say, but it's a little off. Not that she's going to keep this up much longer, there's not a lot of point to that. If everybody else is on this side, Mirrors being here will be obvious soon enough.]

But hey, I can see why you're confused, she only met you recently, right? So we didn't meet when I've been on this side before. So there's no way you'd know her Mirror doesn't need a notebook or anything like that.

[entreats]

[ At least Ange is quick to catch on. Not at the first thing the other says, because it does sound very much like a Ryoko sort of thing. But the moment she uses the word "she", Ange knows. It's not actually Ryoko. Or not the one she knows, anyway.

It makes her look immediately slightly more exasperated, because dealing with Mirrors has never been a fun time in her experience. ]

You're the other one. [ Very tactful, Ange. Good job. ] So you don't have her kind of memory problems?

That's right. I don't have those problems. In fact, I've got a memory like an elephant and a mind like a steel trap. We're total opposites.

[Or at least that's how she's framing it.]

That's how most of you seem to be. [ The opposite of the "real" counterparts, she means. At least from what she's seen so far. ]

You aren't planning on causing trouble for her here, are you?

If I was, I probably wouldn't tell you.

[She's just being honest about that one.]

I'm not really like some of the others who are going to go around making a huge mess or anything like that. It's kind of lame, isn't it?

[She thinks so at least. Bunch of unpleasant psychos on her side of the glass, or at least there were.]

But I might mess with her a little bit, not a lot though since it's not like I really planned for this. Besides, it's difficult to fit something spontaneous in when somebody else is already causing trouble for her.

[ See, this is exactly why she doesn't like these mirrors! They're the wildest, most unpredictable bunch. And also love avoiding answering things and being cryptic. Somehow it feels like she's dealt with this kind of people before, although she can't really remember when or where. It makes her look slightly annoyed all the same. ]

What do you mean, "someone else"? You mean Wonderland itself? Because that's kind of causing trouble for all of us right now.

[She'll answer that one quickly enough.]

Don't get me wrong, it is causing trouble for everyone, even me. But that's not what I'm talking about at all. I'm talking about someone on this side of Wonderland.

[ Who could that be? Sure, there's a lot of weirdos around in Wonderland, but Ange didn't think there would be someone around who's actively causing trouble for other people..

She's not even sure if she'd get a straight answer from a Mirror, but whatever. She may as well try to ask, since there is some concern buried deep underneath her pokerface attitude. ]

Oh, that's an easy one. It's...

[And instead of answering, she does her best impression of Ryoko instead.]

Um...sorry, I was going to say their name, but I forgot who it was.

[And then she just cracks up at her own awfulness.]

Like I'd give that one away! No way! Especially if the people closest to her haven't figured it out yet. It takes all the fun out of it if you do that.

B - 19th - Mirror

[With everything seemingly going out of control now, Ishimaru is constantly checking up on his friends to make sure that they're okay and not trapped in any voids or anything. So once he manages to spot one familiar face, he excitedly power walks over towards her.]

Ah - Otonashi-kun! There you are! Are you alright?!

[Oh good. Definitely someone she wanted to see.]

Why's everyone keep asking me that?

[She seems tired of it, but she's okay. Really.]

Um, is there some reason I shouldn't be?

[moraloutrage]

[He nods vigorously.]

Unfortunately, there is! Have you noticed, Otonashi-kun? Pieces of Wonderland have been disappearing! It is a very distressing situation.

Given those circumstances, it is only logical that one would fear that you could have been lost as well! Either disappeared as well, or trapped in one of those mysterious voids! So, I am quite overjoyed to find you alive and well, and in one piece!

What? Wonderland's disappearing?

[She looks like she's about to panic, but it fades quickly, settling into a colder looking grin.]

Oh wait, I've noticed that. Think everyone's noticed that. Even her! Though she's probably forgotten about it a few times. Which is a super scary thought! She could forget, wander into the void and never be seen again!

[It's super duper scary isn't it? Even though the mirror seems to think it's funny.]

But I don't think she will. She's probably got a super handy note reminding her to not walk into the void. She almost always has something like that in there.

[And she goes on speaking, his mistake finally sinks in. He frowns and deflates a bit.]

...Ah, I see. So... so you are Otonashi-kun's Mirror, not Otonashi-kun myself! I am sorry for making such a mistake once again! [The lack of a notebook should have been the first clue, but he wasn't really paying attention with the urgency of things.]

N-now please do not say such morbid things! I am sure that what you last said is the fact of the matter. Otonashi-kun must have a warning in place to keep her safe from those voids!

Of course she does, she pretty much always does.

[Which is so incredibly boring most of the time to her, but she gets why things turn out like that.]

Sure, she's kicked the bucket here a few times, but most of the time something dangerous is going on, there's almost always a convenient note in there telling her what to or what not to do. That's pretty lucky, don't you think?

[One part of that sticks out and makes Ishimaru turn pale.]

Are... Are you saying that she has died in this world... multiple times??! [He winces.] Urgh... If only I was more vigilant...!

[He quickly shakes his head.]

However, what do you mean when you refer to those notes? Are they notes written by her, or someone else?

If it makes you feel better, she hasn't died since she's come back. I'd say I'm surprised she hasn't told you, but I'm sure it slipped her mind.

[She's sure it does not in fact make him feel better.]

And that's a super good question, isn't it? Like if she's not writing them, who is? But I'm pretty sure everything in there's written in her handwriting, so it'd have to be her, right?

Th-that is not much of a relief... [Sure, he's glad that she hasn't died within the past few months, but that's kinda easily overweighed by learning that she's died several times!

He frowns and just tries to dismiss those distressing thoughts as he focus on the other subject, as confusing as it is.]

...Huh? If they are in her handwriting, then they must be her handiwork! You may be her mirror, but you must have missed the moments when she wrote them. The solution must be as simple as that! Otonashi-kun... must have been working hard and preparing herself for a number of scenarios!

That would make the most sense, sure. But what happens in Wonderland isn't always what makes the most sense, right?

[moraloutrage]

You do have a point there. [He reluctantly nods, conceding that point.] ...But still! That does not mean that everything that transpires here has to be nonsensical in nature! I believe in Otonashi-kun, after all. And I have done my best to instill the spirit of hard work in her. That must mean that it is working!

Oh no, you believe in her? Whatever will I do?

[The Mirror recoils as if hearing that's harmed or defeated her somehow, but it quickly gives way to the unpleasant smile she normally wears.]

That's good. I'm glad actually. You don't have to believe it, but I'm happy someone out there believes in her. And I hope you keep believing in her no matter what.

[It'll make it all the worse if certain things happen.]
