+ Now I've Nothing Left to Give +
Who: Everyone
Where: What's left of Wonderland
When: Beginning on 1/5
Rating: PG-13 to be safe, warn if going higher
Summary: Welcome to end game.
The Story:
Every part of the Mansion is gone except for parts of the first floor and on 1/5, the lights go out. The stairs go nowhere, and everything looks distinctly abandoned and dark. We suggest you find your loved ones, and stay close to them. This might be it. Maybe you’ll really die here.
Later that same day, the first floor begins to crumble away. Gravity is gone, and everyone rises into the void. There are probably tears and goodbyes. Maybe even conversations of when they’ll have to start eating each other to survive.
But then, there is a bright flash of light. A familiar light to anyone who has dealt with the Core before. It washes over everyone and suddenly you are somewhere else. Maybe you’re even someone else.
Everyone will find themselves in dream-like versions of pother worlds; memories from the absolute bottom of Wonderland’s barrel. These are things it has been sitting on for decades that it threw out there so everyone would have a place to land and finally get some food and water. Maybe your character finds themself having a drink at the Cantina from Star Wars with the Cantina Band on repeat until the end of time. Maybe your character is a magical person who traded their soul for the ability to fight witches. Maybe you just really, really wanted a Harry Potter AU one more time. Almost anything is fair game!
These will truly feel like dreams due to the fact that Dream Side is no longer a separate place in Wonderland, meaning that it will be relatively easy for characters to snap out of their respective AUs if needed, though some characters will naturally be better at that than others. There will be weak points in the events where people can slip back out into the black void, where they will see hundreds of little wisps of events in pale rainbow colors. They can travel into any of these to try and recover their friends. Anyone who went missing when the mansion started disappearing can be found here. Sometimes, if no one is in an event, its light will go out. It is unclear how long Wonderland can truly sustain this.
Go forth and break free from events one last time! And it might be a good idea to figure out how the heck you’ll get out of this one alive.
Please post a top level for each event with the relevant details (what you might see on the bulletin board) so that others can come play in the events you've created! We will also put up a top level specific to the void for anyone who wants to thread their characters in between the different event wisps.
Here is the info post for this log, along with it's FAQ and a few event suggestions.

That does seem to be enough to tip the hippo over into actually intending to leave, although it still requires a bit more nattering to reach the point of putting that intent into action. After a few more thanks and appreciations, it finally begins trundling away, on a note of: "I'll have to keep you in mind the next time I need something!"
Lapis heaves a long sigh.

Thankfully she is at least joined with the person most likely to understand why Ange hates this place so much.
"I think I would prefer literal hell at this point. Or the sweet release of death. What's wrong with these animals?"
no subject
"They're not very smart, for starters," she says in a tone of severe understatement.
no subject
Says someone who is clearly an expert in social interactions. Okay, sure, maybe she's not, but Ange likes to think she's at least better at it than these animals.
"I can't take this."

"I'm actually considering it." It's mostly her defeatist attitude, really. It's easier to just give up than to deal with tough things. Even when said tough thing is just having to deal with overly friendly animals, apparently.
"How long do you think we're going to be stuck like this? It can't be forever, right?"
no subject
Like, that sounds flippant, but Lapis is honestly pretty alarmed about the possibility. She's a bit alarmed about every possibility, which to be fair is how she always is, but still.
no subject
Being stuck in this place forever? Please, god, no.
"Let's look around for an exit." Somehow this is the most resolved Ange has probably ever sounded in front of Lapis.. She's even already starting to
walkbird hop away, apparently just assuming the other will follow.no subject
"And then what? Where would you even go?"
no subject
Does she sound like a child throwing a tantrum? Absolutely. Then again, Ange may be 18 years old physically, but it's not as if her mind didn't somewhat stop back when she was 6 years old and heard her parents died anyway.. It's just the dumb stuff that brings it out in her rather than her usual front. Like this, apparently.
"I'd take the big black nothing over this."

The problem with the whole of Wonderland falling apart, of course, is them being in it while it happens. This little realm is stupid, but it's harmlessly so, and that's hard to gamble with right now.
no subject
angrily hoppingstomping like a childwalking for a moment and turn around to face the other."Does it sound needlessly dramatic if I'd say I would rather die than deal with this?" Yes, Ange. Yes, it would. Especially since Lapis is right - this world is so incredibly harmless, even though it seems to hit just the right irritating notes for Ange.

It almost looks a little like Ange is pouting. Although it's really hard to tell, considering the beak and all.. It just makes her facial expression look really weird for the most part.
"You can't tell me this is just going to be our reality now for the rest of eternity."

"I.. didn't know you could be so insistent when it comes to a weird overly cutesy place like this."
