[COMPLETE] Welcome home~
Who: Beast Boy, Kite, and Linda
Where: RANDOM HALLWAY. Probably somewhere on the first floor.
When: Late night/early morning; a week after his disappearance
Rating: PG
Summary: In only a week, so much had happened to Beast Boy and so many had missed him. But no one was so determined to find him as Kite and Linda were. (ALSO NO ONE SAW THAT MASSIVE FAIL I JUST PULLED)
the Story:
It was a miracle he had made it back in one piece!
It'd been kinda hard to rebuild the machine when he was impaired by his wounds, but at least he and Tino had managed to fix the "Time Machine." A few extra pieces of wire here, a couple more drawn-on buttons there, and it was as good as new! And it actually worked this time.
Tino had run off to do his own thing (no doubt make sure his beloved Pizza was still alright), leaving Beast Boy to quietly... erm, limp his way to Simon's clinic. Hopefully Raven would come down too. He'd really missed her, and her magic could really come in handy repairing his missing skin. Then he was long overdue for some serious napping and game time with River.
The Duchess had done a fairly good job patching him up though. The worst of his wounds--the claw marks on his cheek, the gaping hole in his side, the claw marks down his back--were all covered in gauze until they could be fixed up be a real doctor. But even Simon couldn't give him the Duchess' comfort, her soothing words, her motherly smile... Besides, he probably needed to go fix his clothes. They were still a torn mess despite the Duchess' efforts to sew them, and he was kinda missing his shoes and gloves. At least the floor didn't have splinters.
Well, despite it all, he was in a fairly good mood. He was back! Not any older, but possibly wiser and definitely stronger. His mirror self wouldn't be waking up to spit out more threats any time soon, at least. Secure in that knowledge, he decided to hum and upbeat tune and put a little skip in his limp.

“I’m sorry I can’t like, heal that,” the girl pointed at her friend’s massive side-wound, regret lacing her voice, “and I don’t think I can carry you very well, ‘cause you’re kinda heavy and I totally suck at carrying heavy stuff… But! I’ll totally come with you down to the clinic-thing, yeah? ‘Cause I bet Kite can carry you!”
She turned and smiled at the AI she had just volunteered, “Right?”
