Dinner and Company.
Who: Nagi, Alice?, and possibly Schuldig and Bradley Crawford
Where Fifth floor, room 15
When: Dinner time! So, uh. Around eveningish.
Rating: PG? Possibly PG-13
Summary: Nagi invited Alice over for dinner, so consumation of food must happen.
the Story:
Fortunately or unfortunately, Nagi had alerted Schuldig to the plans he'd set in motion. Though it was true that he could have planned for dinner elsewhere, he'd chosen to keep things as simple as possible, and had, thus, warned Schuldig ahead of time that he was to be wearing clothing while Alice was around.
That aside, he'd prepared a fine meal-- Rather, he'd collected a fine meal. Takoyaki, Gyoza, Tempura, Onigiri, and other various assorted Japanese cuisine, as well as pot roast, steak, meat loaf, and several deserts.
Now, their room wasn't entirely huge-- decently sized, but not huge-- so several small tables had been set up, upon which the food and desserts were neatly placed. Upon a separate, smaller table, the utensils, dishware, and napkins were placed.
Strategic placement of all of this allowed for plenty of room for a table at which they could all sit. In the middle of the table, several candles were lit-- to add a bit of a ... well, he wasn't quite sure. They could have certainly done without it.
In any case, he opened the door and patiently sat at the table, awaiting the arrival of his guest.
He was so nervous.

In any case, he opened the door and patiently sat at the table, awaiting the arrival of his guest.
He was so nervous.

Reaching Nagi's room, he saw the door was open. Poking his head in, and seeing Nagi sitting at the table, he entered the room, waving slightly.
"Heya Nagi," he greeted, smiling.

Perhaps ... perhaps he was trying to repay him for his kindness and generosity?
Perhaps he--
He composed himself, and motioned toward the tables. "I wasn't sure what all to get.... Drinks, desserts-- Ah, Whatever you'd like, it's over there."
Why did Alice continuously make him stupid?

"This is Takoyaki," he said as he gestured toward the plate. "Takoyaki are a kind of dumpling with octopus inside. Gyoza are also dumplings, but they've got pork and vegetables inside them. ...And these," he continued as he moved on to each of the plates, briefly describing each one. When he finally finished, he turned to the drinks.
"Sake-- Japanese rice wine," he singled out the oddly labeled bottle and the small cups next to it. "There is water, orange juice, and hot tea, as well."

Taking a bit of everything, and pouring himself water, he placed the plate on the other table and waited for Nagi to come as well.

"I'm not sure when, or if, Schuldig and Crawford are showing up. It might be best for you to prepare yourself for the worst." Schuldig tended to be more than slightly eccentric, and he didn't want to risk Alice being caught completely off guard by it.
"...And if you don't like anything, don't worry about it."
no subject
"Ah kay.. Um, what do you mean worst?" he asked, taking a takoyaki and nibbling it. He liked it and took a whole bite. "Mmmhm," he replied to Nagi's last comment, chewing on the food.
no subject
Absentmindedly, he played somewhat with his food, using his chopsticks to push several dumplings around. "It may be best not to take anything he says seriously."
no subject
"Uhh okay then. So I should just ignore what he says?" he asked. He remembering talking to Schuldig a bit while he was living at their room after the event with the zombies. Schuldig was a bit...well eccentric as Nagi had described, but he didn't seem too bad.
Next, Alice tried picking up the Onigiri with the chopsticks but it was too big and he was having trouble picking it up. Frowning slightly, he wondered how he should eat it.
no subject
Nagi raised an eyebrow at Alice's failed attempts to pick the Onigiri up with the chopsticks. "Use your hands," he said.
no subject
"Hands?" Alice asked, setting down the chopsticks. "So you eat it like a sandwhich?"
no subject
"Crawford is the complete opposite of Schuldig. One could describe him as being somewhat like me." Nagi tended to be somewhat less talkative than Crawford-- unless he was around Alice, it seemed.
...There was no way to tell how they would treat Alice, unfortunately. While Schuldig had already interacted with him and there was some level of familiarity, Nagi was still uncertain on what, exactly, the German thought of Alice. Nagi also hadn't seen Crawford very often at all. Needless to say, he could only hope things went well if the both of them showed up.

"Like you? Is he the same age as you?" he asked.

"Nagi! How it's alright with you, I brought my new toy with me." Schuldig said as he placed Nisei on the ground again, grinning sweetly at him.

Arms crossed over his chest, frown still in place as he took a look around. The food looked good, but somehow he didn't feel comfortable just being dragged up here by the redhead.
Silence was all Schuldig got for now and an icy little glare, clearly the cursing hadn't gotten him anywhere.

Looking at the other black haired person that Schuldig mentioned as 'toy' he didn't think that was Crawford so maybe it was someone else? He didn't know who it was though.
no subject
"Friends of his...?" He asked quietly, raising an eyebrow and gesturing toward Schuldig.
no subject
"Nisei, this is my roommate Nagi, and his girlfriend Alice. Boys, this is Nisei. I'll be bending him over later." Schuldig said all this as simply as if it were a normal introduction.
no subject
Embarrassed? Oh yes, a blush settling on his cheeks and a deep frown. He felt that he should say something, to refute that but it was true wasn't it? That was the whole reason he had met the German in the first place. More silence from the boy, just reaching up to tuck some of his hair back behind an ear.
no subject
If he hadn't been used to Schuldig's antics, he might have been appalled by the German's behaviour. In all honesty, he would have been worried for his health if he'd acted any differently.
no subject
"Such a generous host, even after we barged in like this~." He mused, taking a hand back casually through his hair. He could at least pretend to be a little comfortable.
no subject
"Er, um, nice to meet you in person, Nisei-san. Finally," he said, waving his hand a bit.
no subject
It had been so long since he had anything like this... The most he could manage when he made his trips to the kitchen was cold leftovers before that blue-haired bastard chased him out again. He couldn't stand that guy.
"Nagilein, I should have you make food for us more often. So nutritious," Schuldig attempted a compliment, tilting his head to the side as he looked over at Nagi. "Did you wear your pretty maid outfit with the apron while you were cooking? I always liked that one."
...really, he couldn't make it two sentences without teasing.
no subject
He regarded Schuldig with little interest and returned to his seat, casually prodding at his food. "You're showing off in front of our guests." Whether or not he was calling him out on an act meant little to Nagi-- he had ways of having his own fun, after all. Playful accusations, though they might have sounded completely genuine, were just that: playful.
"I'm not the one who wears the maid dresses around here."
no subject
"Ah, but I should have expected as much," Schuldig continued with a little smirk as he went back to the food table to pick out his feast. "Alice is the girl in this relationship, ja? You must make him wear the maid dress."

"Maaa, Alice-chan, no need to be so upset~." He offered with another forced smile and a gesture toward the German. "He just likes to think he's funny, that's all~."
no subject
"Alice...." He said eventually, rising from his seat once more. This was definitely a side of him he wasn't used to seeing, as was evident by the look of complete disbelief on his face.
no subject
Anyhow, for some reason, him wearing a maid outfit annoyed him quite greatly, so he did the obvious reaction that came naturally to him. After the outburst, he noticed the hand on his shoulder. Alice turned around to look at Nisei, and also glanced at Nagi as well. He tilted his head in confusion on why Nagi seemed so surprised.
