Summary: The Prince and Major meet in the library
the Story:

Well it certainly was chilly in the library but poor weather wasn't anything to stop Seeu from working on his research. The prince sat at one of the tables provided for quiet reading shivering as he tried examine the images of human anatomy and another book on doll creation. Beside him on the table there was what appeared to be something similar to a human head made out of mechanical parts.

After a moment of examining his books, the boy pulls out tools from the long sleeves of his traditional clothing and started to pick at the brain of the doll.

"If you wish to see my research then all you had to is ask."

The red headed boy picks up one of the books open and hands it over. The bound book filled with sketches, information, and writing, some of which doesn't appear to be translated as he switches occasionally from his own language to Japanese when the word is lacking. He has a great deal of research on the actual creation of dolls now and detailed plans for building the parts.

However, there are flaws in some of the mechanics and more importantly very little information on the area of the brain. There it appears to be mostly short hand notes.

"Not really, most residents refer to me as simply Seeu or Prince Seeu."

The major glanced through the book, somewhat bored with the majority of the details. But this place was calm, and the sport he might achieve in pushing the boy was amusing in the meantime -- just to see what he would do when he needed to test his theory. He recognied Japanese, of the two languages, he couldn't read the other.

"The mechanics need work." He said smiply, still smirking.

"I am aware of the flaws. That's the main reason why I am building a model."

"So you plan to fix them, or are these old notes?"

"Yes, I do. I have made some improvements as I've worked. The notes do need to be corrected. Sometimes the physical sensation of working is useful in understanding how an error should be repaired."

"I see. I might have some information that you would find useful." This Seeu wasn't a threat to him in any meaningful way, and sharing the information on his own body might help if he ever needed repairs...

"What might that be?" He stopped working to give The Major his full attention again.

He kept smirking, although parts of this memory infriated him. "I had an unfortunate encounter at the end of the war, some of my body was replaced."

Seeu now turned to face him. There's a small spark interest in those eyes.

"So you have prosthetics?...Most likely complicated ones?"

"I believe the term is cybernetics."

"Cybernetics? I see. Do you intend to show me here and now?"

"Have you worked on this sort of thing before?" If it was mechanics, he trusted mechanics, and he needed someone to do that work with Doc back in the other world.

"I have built dolls completely before and I am capable of reasonably repairing myself or more simplistic doll forms. However repair of your body type would be my first."

"Is part of your body prosthetic." Well then, he might have more than once use. "In cybernetics, the mechanical is fused to the organic tissue. It's not so easy to take apart. Surgery is involved for some of it."

"It sounds fascinating. However, I might be only limited to smaller repairs. A sterile environment for surgery doesn't seem like something the mansion would have. I would also have to study about it before trying to perform the task."

Well, he had rebuilt the Letztes Battalion, he could work with what he had -- for now.

"I can show you what I have, it may help you." The smirk didn't leave his face.

"That sounds like the most ideal plan. Is there some reason you are smiling ever so pleasantly?"
