Summary: Gil decides to take a walk to go see Oz, until he runs into Cheshire and past a wreath.
the Story:

To say the last few days were a surprise was an understatement. On the one hand Oz was back and he didn't have to worry about his master being safe for the time being. Then there was the negative hand...first was Cheshire (why the hell did he have to come here?) and then Vincent...who seemed to be staying in his room now too. Gil had thought about just going and curling up in a corner, but opted for a walk instead. Maybe he could go see Oz that would make his day better...a lot better.

Briskly walking down the new decorated halls, not sure what was going on with that, he really didn't pay much mind where he was going. His only focus was on the last of his cigarettes between his lips. If anyone wanted to get on his case about it he felt he deserved one after his week so far.

"Mm-hm." Vincent reinforced, nodding his head. Gilbert wasn't the only one happy to see the feline was gone. "He did throw you around quite carelessly." A hint of defensiveness slipped it's way into Vincent's voice, despite his efforts to keep the comment light-natured. "Perhaps you should get some rest. You still look quite flustered." And despite noting his brother's look, Vincent made no move to let go of his hand.

Gil knew if his brother had seen all of it then Cheshire was going to be in more trouble now. Very few people seemed to annoy his brother that wasn't at least told they did so. "Stupid Chain." Relief in his voice then nodding to the blond. "I guess so..." Not wanting Oz to see him like this right now. Eyes still fixated on his hand in Vincent's. "Vincent..."
