Who: Poland [[livejournal.com profile] reckless_eagle] and Ryohei [[livejournal.com profile] kyokugen_sun]
Where: A tearoom
When: March 12...sometime
Rating: PG?
Summary: Ryohei talks to Poland. Because Poland is awesome. And not deaf.
the Story:
There were a lot of things that Ryohei was fed up with, and at the top of the list was "dealing with people named Seimei and Hibari." It wasn't that he was particularly angry at either of them; he didn't mind helping Hibari whenever he needed it, and right now he definitely did, and he hadn't seen Seimei for days. He knew wasn't likely to see him again any time soon, either. But dealing with Hibari meant dealing with Seimei at least mentally, and at the moment that was more than enough.

The whole situation had gotten more complicated than Ryohei liked, and for once, he felt like he needed to talk to someone about it. He couldn't go to Hibari, though, so the next person to come to mind had, somehow, been Poland. Even if the nation didn't remember it, he'd told Ryohei an awful lot about his own problems, and Ryohei felt like it would be okay to talk to him.

He'd sent the nation a message asking him to meet him in a certain tearoom, and that was where he was now, juggling two balls idly with one hand while he waited.

"Oh. Um, I like, guess that's cool, then..."

So. Awkward.

Poland shook his head. One of the things about being a few centuries old was that a couple of weeks stopped seeming like it was any time at all.

"They like, probably still all think at least one of us did something bad," he grumbled. He wasn't sure what he liked less--the idea that people would go thinking he was a slut, or that they'd think he'd been taken advantage of. Ryohei looked pretty bad in either of those scenarios, he guessed.

"But I'm a good Catholic!" Generally. "I like, don't want everyone thinking I'm some skank or something!"

"...Well, like. If Liet knows about it, he probably thinks something happened, right? And if he's not trying to kill you for hurting me, he probably thinks I wanted it to. So, um..."

Poland paused slightly, to think.

"I totally don't know," he admitted. "I mean, he's not a really suspicious guy, and he's probably trying not to assume the worst and all, but like... I don't know, what would you think if your friend ended up all drunk and stuff and in bed with a stranger?"

"Well, I'm like, not that friend!" Poland snapped, still rather off-balance from the whole situation. "I've totally got standards and stuff!"

Poland sighed. He wasn't really upset at Ryohei so much as he was upset around Ryohei.

"...'Cause Liet knows about that whole thing now, and he probably thinks I'm... I'm like, dirty now..."

It was beginning to look like there simply wasn't a way to make Poland stop blushing so much.

"Ohmigod, no! I like, don't wanna make him think about it or something... God, this is just so embarrassing..."
