A Kiss is Just a Kiss [Closed]
Who: Lithuania (
watchful_knight) and Poland (
reckless_eagle).
Where The woods.
When: Saturday, May 29th, mid-afternoon.
Rating: PG-13 at the very highest.
Summary: Poland and Lithuania go out berry-picking and discuss their upcoming nuptials.
the Story:
Poland hadn't realized before now just how tedious it was to plan a wedding (or something like one). He'd always liked them--you know, gathering in the church, nice clothes, pretty flowers, lots of drinking afterwards, families connecting, people feeling good--but he just hadn't realized how much work went into them. Made it a little less fun, if no less exciting. He supposed that Jadwiga and her advisers had done a lot of the planning when he and Liet had their official wedding... he missed her, God rest her soul. Oh, well.
At any rate, there was no way he was going to spend all of his time until the upcoming ceremony organizing things. It was boring. He needed to get out of the room and do something. And it probably wasn't good for Liet to work too much, either, so he had to get him to come with.
Half an hour and a few come on, Liet's later, they were out in the woods. Lithuania had a basket in one arm and Poland hanging off of the other one.
"It's totally nice out here," the blond gushed, tugging him over to a berry bush and plucking a few. They never made it to the basket, ending up in his mouth instead. "I can't believe how fast it got this warm after the frost, you know?"

He knew that he wanted to be with Poland in a way that a man should not be with a man now. It was hard to digure out how Poland felt about it; Sure, he had been the one to be in love with him long before Lithuania himself had noticed anything, but...
"A-and I know nothing about any of it." When he had been much younger, he had sometimes watched adults kissing each other, in a time before he had learned that staring was bad.

"Well," he said decisively, "I mean, I've totally kissed before. Once." And it had been confusing and strange and somehow off, but that wasn't the point! "So that like, means I know more about it than you, so I'm in charge, okay?"
Frankly, he had no idea what he was doing, or if he was going to do anything at all, but he was trying to feel less... dragged around by the course of the conversation. So maybe if he put himself in charge and took action, he'd feel more secure. It usually worked, for him.
