Who: Orihara Izaya and Aikawa Yuu
Where The office where Izaya does all his ridiculous therapy work
When: Sunday
Rating: PG-15
Summary: "Exposure Therapy is the only way!"
the Story:
Filling out paper? No. Being professional? Nope. Izaya's spinning around in his very fancy leather chair and laughing. He was supposed to have a patient or something like that in this time slot (The work schedule having been thrown in a fit of uncaring sometime earlier in the day) but they're oh...2 minutes late. He's damn well entitled to what he wants in that time.
It's a very tedious job.

Izaya stands, making a show of it, and shuffles over to his filing cabinet.
"So we will be continuing."

"Pulling out more and more stuffed rabbits isn't going to do anything."

But they are, obviously. Because why would Izaya keep live rabbits in his filing cabinets?
And since they are fake, and Yuu does seem to be making good progress, he just brings the last two out together.
One is soft, small, and cute. The other is larger, even larger than the other four, and with long floppy ears.

"W-where did you get that?"

Somehow, it was getting harder and harder to separate what was happening from what he knew was the reality of the whole situation.

"No, Yuu. There never was a Rei," he looks at both of the rabbits thoughtfully before setting them down with the others on the desk and moving to retrieve the fallen one on the ground.
"If these are not yours then why are you having such a reaction to them?"

"Was there someone named Rei in your childhood, Aikawa? Perhaps you're confusing memories." He takes a second to look over the case details.
"Two bodies and three people were recovered. None of which were named 'Rei."

He wants to sound confident about this, but there's an edge of desperation in his voice that might come across as uncertainty.

"You think I talked to these rabbits and made Rei up so that Mitsuki wouldn't be at fault?"
