FIRE CANDY EVENT POST [OPEN]
Who: You. That's right, YOU. [OPEN]
Where: EVERYWHERE!
When: March 19th, starting at midnight
Rating: To be determined. First offer is PG-13 for drug use.
Summary: CANDY RAVE PARTY IS GO!
The Story:
"At exactly midnight on the 19th, the mansion becomes a club where the party never stops--even if you want it to. Neon and black lights flicker everywhere and loud music makes the walls shake. Outside, Wonderland has become a grungy city of doorless buildings, lit up in neon that makes it impossible to make out any stars in the sky. The only normal fixture of Wonderland that remains are the merchants, though residents will find them changed. Their masks are the faces of animals, their booths are run down, and they'll swindle, scam, and even steal from you if you don't watch out.
But that's not all. What rave would be complete without candy? It's all over the place, littering every surface, in all shapes and colors. The floors are littered with empty wrappers that tempt you: everyone else is doing it, so it can't hurt to have a piece. Right? ♥
And it doesn't! Not at first, anyway. At first, it's quite pleasant, inducing cheerful, playful, laid back moods in anyone who consumes it. It's quite addictive once you've had a taste, but there seems to be plenty to go around."
Then the post says something about changes when the 20th rolls around. But today is not the 20th, so who cares? IT'S PARTY TIME!

He pauses in his dance, patting his legs experimentally, then smiles up at Philip. "Ohmigod, you're so right!"
no subject
"They look- they look really great, I'm--"
He spins around once, almost dutifully, as if dancing is an important task that can't be abandoned during his conversation.
"I'm so relieved," he touches his chest in a gesture of sincerity. "Those fins would have been--"
Another spin. Can he still be heard? Better crank up the volume.
"Terrible for dancing!"
no subject
"No, no!" He smiles, dancing along vaguely. "I can dance with those! For sure! I totally did it, under the water, with Liet! It was fun," he concludes, face bright with joy at the memory.
no subject
"You have to teach me someday, because..."
He puts his feet closer together to mimic the circumstances and attempts to continue his dance moves. They are clumsy and he stumbles to the side after a moment.
"Because I have no idea how to dance with fins at all!"
no subject
"Oh, okay! Like. Let's do that!"
no subject
"Do you think," Philip looks around, spinning some more. "Do you think this is permanent? Because I think..."
He attempts to access his memories under a thick layer of colours and noise and finds them awfully gloomy in comparison. And at this very moment the reason for that is quite obvious.
"Because I think this has really been missing so far!"
no subject
"No clue. It's like, one of those things, right? You never know." He is suddenly fascinated with Philip's hair, and reaches up to touch it. Hair! "What's been mission, though? Missing. That word."
no subject
...And the hair?
No. Wait. That's the other thing!
He moves closer and leans forward to allow for closer hair inspection.
"How's it doing?"
Philip wouldn't know, given that he rarely talks to his own hair, but at this very moment he has every reason to believe that Poland is an expert on the matter.
no subject
"It's like. So cool, man, ohmigod. It's totes like a hedgehog! A nice one. A happy one."
no subject
"I... I'm not sure that's good, I--"
He stands up straight and strokes his own hair very carefully.
"What if it falls down?"
Who? Why, his hair hedgehog of course!
"Do you think... Do you think I should stop dancing?"
That thought is positively distressing to him, but he would hate to hurt an innocent animal.

He moves his head slowly, then faster, then very fast, then throws it about wildly.
He stops. Strokes his hair again.
"It..."
He beams.
"It worked! You did it!"
no subject

He breathes a sigh of relief and continues dancing, even happier than before.
"I don't know what we would have done without you!"
no subject
Indeed, the world is an even shinier, happier place now that he has saved an innocent creature from falling to its doom and allowed Philip to dance in peace!
