[open to all]
Who: Anyone and everyone!
Where: The beach
When: 12pm, April 27th
Rating: PG for now, just in case. I don't see it getting higher, but who knows.
Summary: Beach day for the residents!
The Story: Yesterday, you would have found the below posted in at least three places per floor. All the important places, plus a few shoved under doors where Feferi had spare or knew who was in said room:

For those who dislike images and/or trollspeak, it's an invitation to a beach gathering this afternoon. Which is where Feferi is right now. Not knowing much about human beach gatherings, she hasn't brought much with her other than herself, but who needs stuff when you have an overenthusiastic Sea Dweller, right?
So, bring forth anyone who would come along! Anything goes, let's just give our characters the chance to escape the mansion walls for a while and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!

She pondered the invitation on her way up the stairs. At home, she would avoid a social situation such as this unless someone (Angela) would drag her. She was also not entirely fond of being out in the sun like that, being a very fair skinned human.
But here, things were different. To start, if you can die here but reappear unscathed a day or so later, why should melanoma be a concern? Then there was the fact that, without her extremely crucial job to do, she was figuratively bored to death. The opportunity absorb some vitamin D and observe the social interactions of the others in Wonderland sounded pretty good.
The following morning, she found she was genuinely excited. She spent the better part of an hour pulling bikinis of various styles and colors from her closet, finally settling on a navy blue halter bikini and a gold sarong. Next, she retrieved a red beach towel, red and white beach umbrella, flip-flops, a beach ball, and much to her amusement, a bottle of "SPF 1,000" sun screen.
On her way out of her room, she decided to dash down the hall and ask Dr. Wesker if he wanted to join her. She all but skipped to door 49, knocked twice, and was already gushing her invitation before the door was open enough for her to see his face.
"They're having a party at the beach. Will you come with me?"
[ Action > 2/2 ]
Walking over to the other side of the room, he opened the door and was surprised to see Doctor Brennan standing before him in a swimsuit of some sort. His face remained without expression as she asked him about attending a party with her at the beach.
"I do not usually attend such social gatherings, Doctor Brennan. And I have a lot of work to do."
He was somewhat surprised when her smile disappeared and was replaced with a somber look. Wesker looked back at the computer, thinking that this 'party' may not be such a bad idea. He would be allowed to converse with other residents, putting their current suspicions to rest about his research. The sooner he could alleviate the suspicion, the sooner he could continue his work on the virus.
He looked back to her and sighed, "I could use a break from my research." Walking over to his closet, he grabbed and changed into a cooler, albeit black, shirt.
Wesker made his way back over to the door and closed it behind him, he and Doctor Brennan making their way to the party.
We're at the beach, ready to party! 8D
Brennan considered for a moment, hands on hips, then selected an appropriate spot for her umbrella. After erecting her umbrella and spreading out her towel, she pulled out her beach ball and began to blow it up. Hopefully this is something that would meet the definition of 'fun'...
Re: We're at the beach, ready to party! 8D
And so as the two doctors arrived, Feferi waited for them to settle before making her way over.
"Hi! I'm glad you came. I'm Feferi."
Another troll? 8D
"A pleasure, Feferi. My name is Albert Wesker." He held out his hand (no gloves for a change!) and smiled. "Are you the one who organized this gathering?"
A troll!! 8D
"Hi Feferi. I'm Temperance Brennan." She smiled and also extended her hand, balancing her now inflated beach ball on her other hand.
A troll!! 8D
"Yes, it was me who organised it. Not that there was much to organise. It's nice to meet you both."
Her gaze flicked from their hands to the ball Dr Brennan was holding, immediately intrigued by the bright colours.
Awww left them hangin! XD
cue the hand drop xD
Fef still has a lot to learn xD

Today, he was glad to be out of the mansion, making his way to the beach wearing a red t-shirt, loose-fitting khaki shorts, and red flip flops, with his swimsuit underneath. He'd had a stressful time ever since his arrival, dealing with vampires and then hearing what lied in store for him in the future. A day at the beach seemed like a good way to clear his head...and get a little training in at some point.
He had a rather full backpack slung over his shoulder, and two towels under his arm. If he ran into Feferi, he'd be able to show her how they make 'sand hives'.
[Action]
"You came! I'm so glad. I remembered my sunscreen!"
She brandished the bottle of lotion she'd managed to get from the closet. Of course, whether she'd applied it correctly was another matter; there were currently smears where it was yet to absorb properly and some patches of skin looked decidedly drier than others. But it was a start, right?
[Action]
He set his backpack down in the sand and unrolled the long towel, appropriately covered in aquatic wildlife designs, on the ground, then began to dig in the bag for his sunscreen. Maybe she'd get the idea of how to apply it by watching him. It was full of all sorts of things: some bottled water, sunglasses, a frisbee, shovel and pail, and a bunched up piece of colorful plastic meant to be blown up into a beach ball, just to name a few.
[Action]
"So is it a common human tradition to claim spaces for themselves when on a beach?" At least she assumed that was what was happening - between Akihiko's setting up and her previous time watching the two doctors, she was intrigued to see if this truly was custom or mere coincidence.
[Action]
"Well, usually there's plenty of space for everyone, but yeah, you pick where you'd like to be for the day. Some people like to set up under trees for the shade. Me, I like to be close to the water."
First things first. He anchored the towel at the corner with his bag, and began to apply the sunscreen.
[Action]
"That makes a lot of sense. Though I think your choice of location makes the most."
There was a playful hint to her tone, despite the fact that she truly meant what she'd said - it wasn't, after all, as though she would be likely to disagree with someone's love of the water.
She continued to watch as Akihiko started to apply sunscreen, intrigued to learn the "proper" way even as she was quite proud of her own attempts.

[Action] Ah, cultural differences
[Action] Oh dear, and I just read that part too xD
[Action] It completely escaped me until it was mentioned in his post xD

Terezi will follow her nose to the fun. The sun here wasn't too bad-- nothing like the harsh rays they had to put up with on Alternia. The smells are different out here-- golden brown sugar coating the ground (her cane saves her from tripping more than once), cotton candy skies. Salt-water taffy, as far as the nose can smell. And in all that taffy, there's the slightest hint of coral.
"Hey, Feferi!"
Terezi's waving from the shore.

Looking up and spotting Terezi waving to her, Feferi made her way to shore. "Terezi! You made it!"

"Having fun?"
no subject
She nodded at Terezi's question. "Absolutely. I'm learning so much about human beach days!" She neglected to elaborate on the part where pails were involved - no need to cause unnecessary concern.

She'll wade in a little bit, up to her calves, and then sit.
"I like this smell."

manipulate'know' the other residents.More than likely he'll have a drink in hand and remain on the beach, open to conversation.

She shoosh, shoosh, shooshes (that's the sound of a cane hitting sand, by the way) her way over.
"Hey."

"Good afternoon." Aaaand it hits him that she is another troll. Thinking back, he remembers seeing her over the network the day he arrived. "I would introduce myself, but I believe we have already met, yes?"
no subject
"You've got a sharp memory, haven't you?" Insert cackle. Because that's just what she does.
"So, what's lured you out to this merriful gathering of rainbow rumpus assholes?"
no subject
He sighs. "Doctor Brennan asked me if I would accompany her to the party. I agreed, hoping I would become acquainted with more of the residents."
Aaaand he can't help but chuckle and ask, "And yourself?"

"How's your acquainting going?"
