Summary: Conan is a curious child. This means he isn't staying in his room for forever. COME PEOPLE. MEET SHINICHI.
The Story:

It had been about 5 days since Conan became Shinichi. His cold was pretty much cured and well, he was getting bored. He was definitely a curious person. Which naturally meant there was no way he was going to stay in a room if there were no books to read. So, even though he should stay inside since he had no idea when he was going to turn back, Shinichi decided it was time to get some more books. Especially the ones on top.

He walked down the halls and into the library, spending quite some time there. After that, he went outside to play some more soccer. Because man he hadn't played soccer in his high school body for a while. (For a while meaning 17 years 6 months) As the sun started setting, he went to the kitchen to get black coffee (without being looked at oddly if anyone caught sight of him) before going back to his room with a stack of books.

Man it was nice being a high schooler again.

"I'm in my second year. How about you?" he asked, his mind going to back to school for a moment. He's been gone about half a year now. Only went to school one or two days. Shinichi wonders if he'll be able to move up next year. It'll probably be hard. Extremely hard.

"Third year when the new term starts."

Taking entrance exams for the university. Minato had thought about his senpai studying for them even with all the fighting they had to do during the Dark Hour. He also had to wonder how many other teenagers in high school he had met here in Wonderland, but overall it was nice to meet those who were his peers.

"So we really are about the same age..."

Minato really was mature for his age. But Shinichi supposed that couldn't be helped because of his experiences. Although Minato hadn't told him too much detail on what he was doing with the Shadows and Personae, Shinichi could easily deduce that it wasn't an easy life.

Shinichi finished off his mug and set it down on the counter.

"I think so."

Minato smiled a little more. Shinichi reminded him of his friends from school at home, the ones in his homeroom. He thought he could feel something familiar about him, whether through a faint hint from an established Social Link, or simply from the fact that they shared similarities.

Shinichi was easygoing, but also intelligent and serious. For some reason Minato felt comfortable around him, and already considered him someone reliable. He saw that the other teen had finished his coffee, and gave him a nod.

"I live on the Third Floor if you need anything."
