Who: Puck, and open to anyone who happens to be passing by.
Where: Starting in the entrance hall, and possibly moving elsewhere, depending on who shows up.
When: Sunday afternoon.
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: Puck finds himself in need of a little music therapy. Busking, Puck-style, is what follows.
The Story:
Puck is definitely not the type of guy who reads. He avoids picking up books as much as he can, and now that he's away from home and school, there's even less reason to waste time on that. But he remembered hearing or reading something about how music can relax people, and in his experience, he knows music has the ability to make him chill out.
And that is exactly what he needs to do right now. So he goes over to the entrance hall, and camps out for awhile with nothing but his guitar and the songs in his head. He's not really expecting to get anything from this, but in case anyone has any cash or other valuable stuff on them, he'll just see that as an added bonus on top of making himself feel better.
"Any requests?" He feels stupid talking to the empty hall, but an imaginary audience is better than none.

"Hey," he greets him, "what's with this set-up? Looking for tips?"

"So you play?" he nods at he guitar, "that's cool. I do a little too, but not in front of anybody."
no subject
He plucks at the guitar strings a little more. "Yeah, I do. And I sing. Sometimes."
no subject
"Hey, cool," Yousuke chimes, and decides to sit down, "you got a song you like to play, or one you're good at?"
no subject
"Man, I got all kinds of songs up in here. Any one of them would rock the bricks off this place." He starts playing the opening to the Rolling Stones' "Back to Zero". Some of the song's awesomeness is lost because it's just him singing it, but he gives it his best effort anyway.
no subject
"Is that... the 'Stones?" It's hard to pick out-- Yousuke's Japanese after all, but he still tries to listen to the classic rockers. "I don't think I've heard this one, but it sounds like them. Man, you've got a voice, you know that?"

...In his mind, anyway.

I know, right? B|
"Glee club is like this thing some of us are into. We hang out and sing stuff. Or we would, anyway, if Rachel decided what the hell we're doing." He rolls his eyes. "She had this competition thing with my football coach as the judge." Not that he has a problem with Beiste being selected as the judge. What he does have a problem with is the fact that the competition was mostly a disaster for him.
True, he kicked ass with his song, but he also got into another fight with Santana, and now neither of them were talking. So if you asked him, the competition really sucked. Though, to be fair, that wasn't really Rachel's fault.

The good part about the people he knows in glee club is that they're all pretty chill about stuff like song selection.

"I've got a guitar too, and I play a little," he admits, rubbing the back of his neck, "if that's your best song, I'd say I'm almost as good as you. I don't mean to be a pro or anything, but it's a hobby."

That aside, Yuu pauses on his way outside.
"Are you...waiting for someone?"
no subject
"Nah, dude, I'm just chilling out with some tunes."
no subject
"What can you play?"
no subject
"Pretty much anything. Gotta admit, though, classic rock's kinda my thing."

He makes sure his guitar is tuned, and launches into a cover version of Queen's Save Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scj4F9XkOgU). It's a more sentimental song choice, but hey, a little sentimentality never hurt anyone, not even Puck, the self-proclaimed badass.

"What'd you think, man?"

no subject
"And thanks. Seriously, girls think guys who can sing and play the guitar are hot."
no subject
He rubs the back of his neck, not so sure about that. So his next question's not quite sarcastic, but not quite serious, either. "Does the mohawk help?"
no subject
Puck smirks and runs a hand over his hair. "Yeah, dude, the mohawk totally helps. Without it, it's like my awesomeness decreases by a lot." Which is why he became such a whining loser when it was shaved off.... but he doesn't talk about that, and certainly won't start now.

He just shrugs. Maybe the guy's a pushover or something. Puck really doesn't care either way. "Oh, lots of stuff. I got every badass song known to man up in here," he says, pointing to his head. And yes, that is totally an exaggeration. But again, that's just how Puck rolls.

He smiles. This guy's okay. "The last one was good, but I wouldn't call it badass."
no subject
The song he sings this time is Aerosmith's "Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)".
no subject
"What's your name, anyway?"
no subject
"I bet you could get all the tunes you want from the closets. I haven't tried yet but seriously, I'd be surprised if it didn't work."
no subject
"My name's Yuu."
no subject
Is that a smile? "You're pretty cool, man." Anyone who doesn't piss him off or treat him as just a delinquent is all right in his book.
no subject
"I'll see you around."
