Summary: Kurt is finally running Glee club! There's no theme this week, so come and sing whatever your heart desires.
The Story:

[Kurt made the announcement yesterday as he normally does over the network, from the music room, sitting on the piano bench with one leg crossed over the other.]

We haven't had an event in some time, so I suppose I should make this quick, in case Wonderland is planning on springing one on us at the last second. There's going to be a Glee Club Meeting tomorrow, right here in the music room.

As always, anyone is welcome to join us. This week, there's no theme. We need to get back into the swing of having regular glee club rehearsals uninterrupted by stupid mansion events, so I think a freebie might be best this week.

So, come to Glee with a song in mind and we'll see you there!

[Okay, so Santana may have actually missed having the rare glee club meeting around here. It means nothing, so shut up.

Since there was no theme, she just decided to sing one of her current favorites. Standing in front of the probably-too-small crowd, she can't resist saying something first.]

Now that our very punctual leader has finally deigned himself to set a gathering...

[Nope, there was really no end to that thought. She just wanted to get it out there, Kurt.

And now she can sing.

Bow, bitches.

While the lyrics tend to fit with her own personal view of relationships in a way, this song is in no way possessed of hidden meanings or aimed at certain people or protesting too much. It's just an unfortunate coincidence she probably didn't even think of beforehand.]

[ Brittany unintentionally catches Santana's gaze a few times throughout; watching the other girl perform always takes her breath away, even when the lyrics are somewhat questionable. ]

Looking good, Santana.

[Puck nods approvingly. She looked and sounded hot, as usual.]

[John just blushes a whole lot through the whole thing. And then claps at the end. Oh gosh there was a part about touching herself oh gosh.]

[Kurt pouts at the criticism, and tries his hardest to look like the meeting's delay totally wasn't his fault at all, and ooo he wants to be so annoyed at her.

...But she's got a great voice, and he finds himself swaying along. Curse her and her talent. He even applauds for her.]

[ Brittany is in the music room long before anyone else and busy limbering up. At any given moment in time she has a number of routines planned and plotted out, but this one in particular has been stewing in her head for quite awhile even before she'd ever stepped foot into Wonderland.

Last night after Santana had gone back to her room to sleep, Brittany had come here and just totally busted her tail into the wee hours of the morning, tweaking things left and right until she was absolutely satisfied with the end result. She may not be a rocket scientist but her talent for dancing has always been second to none; it's something she unabashedly pours her entire being into, and that level of dedication really shows with every move she lands.

After Santana's performance she slips away to change and when she comes back, she's wearing this. Her song choice quickly becomes obvious as the first few notes strike up and she dons her top hat with a flourish, singing and dancing along with all of her best moves. ]

[Santana watches Brittany's every move, the way she's always done. The song's a good choice, the dancing even better, and it makes her feel vaguely uncomfortable in the way where she knows exactly how well some of those moves lend themselves to sex, but she can't do anything about it. Not when they're still so rocky.

(Which is all Santana's fault, of course, but she's just not there yet.)

Anyway, as hot and tempting as this whole performance is, it doesn't stop her from practically beaming with pride. Even with all the awkwardness recently, she's so happy to have her best friend there.

When the song ends, Santana claps and cheers more than anyone else. (And they better be clapping and cheering, or else.)]

[All of this is really hot! John doesn't know what to do but clap!]

[Wow, that's incredible for one day's notice. Kurt applauds when she's done.]

Glee just wasn't the same without you, Brittany.

[Of course, he's thinking less about her number being hot and more about having the most capable dancer the next time he needs to do something like Single Ladies or Vogue, but his heart's in the right place.]

[Dave's in time to catch Santana and Brit's songs, but makes no comment because he doesn't feel like it. He's debating between a couple of songs to sing, honestly, so his attention isn't at all on any hidden meaning bullshit the songs have. Of course, he does have enough attention on them to appreciate the talent displayed in their singing voices. He's in his normal clothes and not his God Tier PJ's 'cause that'd be a little awkward to explain. Among other things. Okay maybe the people in Glee wouldn't mind the Time bullshit, but he's not ready for that yet.]

Guess it's my turn.

[He steps up and just starts singing. This one doesn't need any dancing, so he just leans casually against the nearby piano.]

[ Brittany locks her gaze onto Dave and watches him with great interest as he begins to sing. The song isn't one she's familiar with but it's got a nice sound and he's got a nice voice, so when it's over she's happily clapping along with the others. ]

[When Dave finishes, John gestures for him to come and sit down next to him.]

[Puck's been hanging out in the back of the room, listening to everyone else singing. Santana and Britt are hot as usual, and Dave's pretty awesome.

And then it's his turn. He gets up, all confidence and attitude. He makes sure his guitar's in tune, and launches into this kickass song.

He ends it with some killer guitar riffs, because no song is complete without those. Eat your hearts out, everyone. Puck knows how to rock.]

[ Puck, you will always be a rock god in Brittany's eyes. She sits up straight in her chair again for this and starts nodding along, very much enjoying the performance and those hot guitar riffs especially. And of course at the end, she loudly cheers. ]

[Santana dances in her seat to Puck's performance like she has so many times before. Not quite as into it as she was with Brittany's, but hey. You can't have everything.]

[John wanders to the front and smiles broadly.]

So, uh. I was gonna do the Pokemon theme song, but, um, after Dave's song I had another idea. Don't laugh, okay?

[John proceeds to sing this and shimmy a whole lot. At one point he wanders over and tries to get Dave to dance with him. Whether that works is up to Dave. Basically it is really gay and everyone is super uncomfortable with how gay it is all over the place.]

[PERFECT TIME FOR THIS ICON, YES!

Uh. By which we mean... John's performance sure is special. When it's done, she applauds...slowly. Kind of dumbstruck.]

[ Brittany would have probably been just as happy to hear the Pokemon theme song honestly, but this one works just as well! She bobs around in her seat along with the performance and when it's all over she pumps her fist in the air and gives a friendly cheer of approval. ]

[Dave will dance with him for the ironies and because otherwise John might look like an awkward dork singing corny (read: great) songs. Isn't he glad to have such a cool boyfriend? After the song, he earns a little peck on the cheek.

Gaying it up in Glee Club: the life.]

[Kurt's polite enough to not jump into his song immediately, as soon as everyone sits down, but he's been sitting on his song for a couple of days now. Eventually he just sort of can't take it anymore and stands to claim his own turn.]

I'd like to dedicate this song to my future self and my future beau, in the hopes that we will have many, many happy years together. And also with thanks to Brittany for giving me such wonderful spoilers about my life.

[He pauses to glance over at Brittany and wave a little with his fingers, and then launches into this lovely, chaste song by Bernadette Peters. Sure he literally knows nothing about Blaine, but that's not going to stop him from day-dreaming about hand-holding with a confirmed future boyfriend.]

[Santana gives Brittany a look, wondering exactly what it was she said. And of course Kurt sounds good, but damn. Yeah, it's glee, but holy crap, is it getting super gay up in here.]

[ When Kurt acknowledges her, she forms a heart with her two hands and holds it up near her chest for him to see, grinning from ear to ear. It's nice to hear him sing a whole solo; he's always been one of her favorite voices in the Glee Club and he hasn't sung as much this year as he has in the past. ]

[John really really wants to ask who his future beau is because he's gossipy like that but instead he just claps and smiles at the end.]

[Dave is not like John. Therefore, he's going to ask straight up.]
