Summary: The Garden is making friends!
The Story:
There is a thread for each of the Garden NPCs, even those whose interactions can be hand-waved (just in case!). Their effects are also there, as a reminder.

Anyone can respond to any of the NPCs, even if you didn't sign up on the event announcement post. In the subject of the tag, indicate when during the event the interaction takes place, and where if possible. This will serve as a point of reference. Both prose and action-style tags are welcome!

The Daisies in the flowerbed nearby seem to quiver in excitement and raise their blooms to sing back:

"We're just crazy over the sight of you!"

Oh Jesus, what is going on?

[gardenparty]

"Everything comes down to proof!"

And then they giggle, shedding a few petals, since it makes them shake.

[akapeanut]

"Hey...what's going on?"

George touches her forehead, stands up. Glares at the daisies because fuck those guys.

"And I...I am feeling a little peculiar..."

[gardenparty]

"When we get close, you turn away!" The Daisies stretch up toward her as much as they can. "There's nothing that we can do or say... So why are you running away?"

[akapeanut]

"Don't tell me not to fly, I've simply got to."

George flails her arms a little. How is she still fucking singing?! She doesn't even really sing!

[gardenparty]

"Will you try defying gravity?"

[akapeanut]

George sighs, shaking her head a little. Might as well have fun with this, right?

"If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why, oh why can't I?"

[gardenparty]

The Daisies dissolve into giggles.

"We like you!" They're still singing, but the tune is their own now. "And your singing, too! So we'll tell you something new!"

The way they laugh, it seems they're pretty pleased with their rhymes.

[akapeanut]

"Tell me more, tell me more."

Something new like what?

[gardenparty]

"This place is certainly kind, even if you've died, but only up to five."

Okay, that's stretching it as a set of rhymes, but the Daisies don't mind it.

"But don't take it to the limit a sixth time."

[akapeanut]

George's eyes widen. Is this going where she thinks it is?

"How do I live?" She presses her lips together, anxious they won't tell her any more. "I want to know."

whoops, that was supposed to be "fifth" where I said "sixth" up there

[gardenparty]

"If you live, you get to remain yourself, but if you lose, the devil gets your soul."

[akapeanut]

"Tell me the truth."

George frowns, she can't think of a rhyme to ask if it's really the devil they're talking about, or if these daisies are just into fiddle contests as metaphors.

[gardenparty]

Again, the Daisies make up their own tune to answer.

"You'll lose what makes you you, and there's nothing you can do."

[akapeanut]

"Honey, is that true?"

She fucking hopes it isn't.

[gardenparty]

"The truth is the truth is the truth."

[akapeanut]

Aaaaugh, fuck. She has to tell someone, doesn't she? Fuck fuck fuck.

"So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye. I hate to go and leave this pretty sight."

With that and a wave, she hurries back to the mansion, cursing as soon as she's able to without it coming out in a melody.
