Summary: The Garden is making friends!
The Story:
There is a thread for each of the Garden NPCs, even those whose interactions can be hand-waved (just in case!). Their effects are also there, as a reminder.

Anyone can respond to any of the NPCs, even if you didn't sign up on the event announcement post. In the subject of the tag, indicate when during the event the interaction takes place, and where if possible. This will serve as a point of reference. Both prose and action-style tags are welcome!

"Thank you, human boy." The Snap-dragonfly flutters clumsily down to perch on John's shoulder. "It's not often people compliment strange creatures like me."

Guys shouldn't even want to be pretty. God, he's weird. Such a loser.

"So kind. Do you happen to have any frumenty and mince pie?"

What even is that? God, he's so stupid! And his dad would be so disappointed in him!

"I...I don't think so. Sorry."

The Snap-dragonfly gives a sad sigh. "That's alright, child. I shouldn't have expected anything from you."

"Y...yeah..."

He does just tend to mess everything up anyway.

"Perhaps some other passerby will be able to help."

"I hope so. I'm...s-sorry." God, he's on the verge of tears. He swallows thickly against this and waves his hand suddenly, stepping away. "I, uh, I gotta go."

The Snap-dragonfly buzzes up into the air.

"I guess that's to be expected." It sighs heavily. "Thank you for your company, human child."
