Summary: The Garden is making friends!
The Story:
There is a thread for each of the Garden NPCs, even those whose interactions can be hand-waved (just in case!). Their effects are also there, as a reminder.

Anyone can respond to any of the NPCs, even if you didn't sign up on the event announcement post. In the subject of the tag, indicate when during the event the interaction takes place, and where if possible. This will serve as a point of reference. Both prose and action-style tags are welcome!

There it goes. That voice again. He haven't gone far, not far at all, in fact, only a couple of steps from where he last stopped, and the voice spoke again. This person (or flower?) must really want to talk to him. The wanderer turned around, trying to find the Gnat once more.

"Who's there? Show yourself!"

"I'm right here. I'm just very small, you see."

[klutzer]

Well, that makes sense. Bartz checked out his surroundings for the third time, this time more carefully and with his eyes aptly narrowed, so he wouldn't miss this creature again (whatever it is). He almost missed the Gnat yet again, but thank Cosmos he finally found it, perching somewhere near him. "Oh, there you are!" He scoots closer, bending down a little so he can see the other party more clearly. "Sorry 'bout that. Small things tend to get past my radar, you know?" Though, he wasn't very observant in general, in case that wasn't obvious already. But he doesn't realise that, of course. "Uh, what are you?"

Blame: a) his ~*magical*~ RPG world, b) amnesia, or c) a little bit of both. At least he only looked a little surprised upon seeing the Gnat. All thanks to Pinkie Pie and her being a talking pony.

"Why, I'm a Gnat, and that is what you might as well call me." The Gnat fans its tiny wings. "How do you find yourself today, my friend?"

[klutzer]

"Alrighty, I'll call you Gnat. I'm Bartz, nice to meet you!" Introducing himself to a talking insect feels kind of weird at first, predictably, but he's quick to accept things, plus talking animals isn't really news, not anymore (see the section about talking ponies in the tag before this), so the feeling passed soon enough. He can't help but wanting to poke the Gnat, though. "Anyway, I'm good. Still trying to map this place out, but good. You? Catch anything for breakfast?"

"I'm doing well enough, for myself. I'm a bit surprised you're doing well, I must say!"

[klutzer]

"Why?" Predictably, he fell into the trap right away, and obviously, he's surprised by the Gnat's response. But since he's not the one to suspect, he assumed that it was just an expression. Or maybe the insect knows about his aversion of staying in one place for too long. Wouldn't know if you didn't ask, right?

"Well you've met some very strange characters during your short stay!"

[klutzer]

"Strange?" The surprised expression was promptly replaced with a curious and somewhat thoughtful one, complete with a head-tilt. "In what way? Define that for me." A very accepting person by nature, it's hard for Bartz to think of something as "strange", especially since he had seen a lot of things that would be considered as strange normally. Plus, when he recalled the people he'd met and talked to...none of them strikes him as particularly "strange". But then again, his bar is really low when it comes to this, so.
