Summary: The Garden is making friends!
The Story:
There is a thread for each of the Garden NPCs, even those whose interactions can be hand-waved (just in case!). Their effects are also there, as a reminder.

Anyone can respond to any of the NPCs, even if you didn't sign up on the event announcement post. In the subject of the tag, indicate when during the event the interaction takes place, and where if possible. This will serve as a point of reference. Both prose and action-style tags are welcome!

Minato considered that for a moment. His usual way of speaking didn't exactly lend itself to singing everything he said.

"Where did she come from?"

"We don't know the name of her world, but it might have been much like your own."

Minato nodded. "Why is she here?"

"Why are you? Why is anyone? She's the same as you or was once."

Once and one aren't a very good rhyme. A couple of the Daisies shake their heads.

Minato didn't mind the non-rhyming verse.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"We share what we know with those who share their time. You're keeping us company, even when we can't rhyme."

Minato wasn't sure if someone else was listening in on their conversation. But he wasn't sure either if the Daisies could be trusted. He could take their word for it for now.

"What else do you know?"

"We know all you could be her someday, if you stay here too long, in a similar way."

Minato figured that had to be true, but it would take such a long time to... If he understood correctly, a long time to forget everything about home.

"What's the point of keeping someone here with no memories of home?"

"Then they'd be what they were to begin with!"

"What they were to begin with?" Minato wanted more clarification.

"Friends of Wonderland!"

That wasn't very clear at all. "Is Wonderland that lonely?"

"Loneliness follows from ones friends leaving."

"But why does it send people home if it doesn't want to be lonely?"

"Why does anyone do anything?"

Not helpful. But Minato nodded. "... Are you lonely?"

"This whole world gets lonely, lonely."

Also not helpful. "Is that all you know?"

"Not all we know, but all we can tell. You can't know everything, that doesn't work well."

Minato had to give them that. "Thank you for talking with me." Singing. Same thing right now.

"It was fun, you're a nice boy. Come play again and bring us joy!"

The Daisies giggle and wave their leaves at him.

Minato smiled slightly and nodded. He gave them a wave and soon left them to talk to someone else.
