[Event!]
Who: Everyone!
Where: Dream bubbles
When: 9/15-9/16
Rating: PG
Summary: Everyone is stuck with their memories. And some other people.
The Story:
This log's pretty straightforward. There is one thread per group for the first day or two of the event, before people are able to leave their initial dream bubble groupings. ♥ If you have any questions, grab a mod on AIM.
EDIT: The mods have decided to let everyone continue with phase two of the event in this one log, since there's overlap between being stuck in the bubbles and moving between them.
So if you're posting to a group thread that isn't your initial group, just your thread with what day of the event it takes place on so people will know it's not from the first day or so.

Group 9
Jade Harley: Land of Frost and Frogs
It doesn't take her long to realize this is a dream bubble. Maybe it's not a real one, but it was something like it. She missed the snow, to be honest. It all disappeared after the volcano blew. So she decides to stay in LoFaF. There was no harm in staying to build snowmen and ride down hills until someone found her.

That is, until he wandered a little farther away from the temple grounds. It hadn't snowed this much if he could remember. But luckily there was someone there, someone who was starting to look also just as familiar.
"Jade?" Somehow the name came to him. It was nice though, not to have to be alone while experiencing everything currently going on around him.

It was reassuring to see someone from Wonderland. She was beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, this was all real and she was back on the ship sleeping. Don't get her wrong, she wants to go back home, but at the same time there are so many interesting people living in the mansion. Interesting people that she can throw snowballs at.
Jade picks up some snow and throws it at him. Welcome to LoFaF, Minato.

He brushed some of the snow off of himself, moving to pack some snow in his hands and throw the ball of frost back at her. Two could play at this game. Play first, ask questions about the memory later?
no subject
She promises not to cheat.
no subject
He smiled and stayed where he was, then gave her a nod, like it was a challenge. Throw the thing if you dare.
no subject
"What are you doing here?" she asks as she packs the snow.
no subject
He did move closer to her and picked up some snow too, imitating her as one form of teasing. It was going to be war now.
"What is this place?"
Kazuki Hihara: Sunset Roof
That first time he had heard her Ave Maria, he didn't know that it was her. He was just done with practicing, thinking about heading home when the sound wafted towards him and froze him in place. It honestly wasn't his song-- too slow, too poignant-- But here he was, stopped in his tracks.
Nostalgic. It felt nostalgic, yet somehow... excited? The song wanted to be played. The song was loved. The violinist moved her fingers and pulled her bow and the love in her heart poured out and was heard. In took incredible passion to accomplish such a feat.
He wished he knew who played it. It was such a big campus and there were so many violinists. Where could she be?
...She?
Kazuki mentally double-taked. It wasn't just an assumption, he knew the person playing that song was a girl. How? He began to pace. This was the first time he'd heard that piece played by that person. Yet he remembered a red-haired girl up on the auditorium stage as he watched from behind the curtains, playing the very same Ave Maria with all the love he had just heard.
"Kaho-chan?"
He turned on his heel a few times, looking at his surroundings from every direction, and up at the sky. Ave Maria continues to play. And then he realizes...
"Oh. I must be dreaming."

But as he drifted along with the landscape before him, there seemed to be more expanse of sky around him. Was that even possible? It had to be though since he was seeing it over some sort of edge of... a building?
"Is that from you?"
Was Minato hearing something right? He couldn't be sure as he approached the other boy.
no subject
Kazuki turned around sharply. He was leaning against the rail around the edge of the roof, trying to get a better listen at one of his most favorite sounds. Time seemed irrelevant, and it continued as long as he had the will to stay... And he did. He was lonely here. There wasn't anything he wanted more than to listen to her play, or see her...
But Minato snapped him out of it. While the music continued, the "dream" was over.
"How are you...?"
no subject
Minato also didn't know how he ended up in this place along with Kazuki. He looked around and it didn't seem to be so dangerous.
"Have you been here alone?"
no subject
He looks back out over the horizon. He shakes his head.
"Usually everyone's leaving the music building by now, so..."

Kazuki shakes his head more energetically this time, then quickly kips over to a bench, where a leather case is sitting. He opens it and shows Minato a rather handsome silver trumpet.
"I play the trumpet! Here, see? That violin has to be Kaho-chan."
no subject
"I didn't know you played."
But Minato was glad to know now.
no subject
Without even asking, Kazuki is taking out his mouthpiece and rubbing it down with a soft cloth, intending to play. He never turned down an audience. In fact, he made audiences, whether they liked it or not.
"Do you have any requests? If I know the tune I can give it a shot!"

Jim Moriarty: swimming pool.
They'll try to shove you into the water, like that boy over there, scrawny and pale and dark-haired, who's trying his level best not to drown.
A bit off to the side, there's Jim. Suit and tie and immaculate and too cold in the seemingly cheerful environment. Hands in his pockets. He hasn't had any dream like this in years. Nor can he say he particularly missed it. It doesn't affect him, so he likes to think.

If it weren't for the sudden impact of her body into the back of a faceless child, she'd have probably walked straight into the pool. She mumbles apologies, shaking the cobwebs from her mind as fingers grasp and pull and no, no, she doesn't want to do this, they can't make her.
She...she hates feeling helpless. But she can't hurt these kids. She breathes out, hissing the word, whimpering the word, but she doesn't shout it. She's too proud. Too scared.
"Help."
Sorry for the delay ^^; I got sick...
He steps forward, slowly, and brings the shadow with him. Surroundings start to shift around him from outdoor to indoor, from day to night, from loud to silent. But it's a gradual thing. Whether it will reach her before she falls, he neither knows nor cares, in fact, he's not even looking her way anymore, instead observing the transition.
no worries dear!
The sense of vulnerability is overwhelming to the point of paralyzing her, and she just stares up at him from her spot on the floor, blind to what their surroundings have changed to.
no subject
Looks at her, after a moment, over his shoulder, still with a cold smile on his face.
"Are you just going to sit there?" His voice is soft and quiet as ever, but in here, it carries easily.
no subject
She can't help asking, though: "Was that-- what was that?"
Shannon Beiste, her apartment
But he was shouting-- screaming, really. She should remember to buy cough drops for him. His throat would be sore.
He saw she wasn't listening. His knuckle caught her cheekbone. The pain was sharp and real.
The door slammed and she was alone.
Alone for far too long.
This wasn't right. He came back in, apologizing and crying and she'd forgiven him so easily and no, no, this in't real. This is the mansion.
Beiste curses and, checking her eye in the mirror before she departs, leaves through the same door.
