Summary: Erica needs some makeover tips. Again
The Story:

[ Lydia had left just after the last text from Erica. She'd rebrushed her hair, checked her own make-up and had put her shoes on. Lydia had only been in her room so the walk along the floor to Erica's room took only a minute, perhaps two. And then came the quick knock on the door.

Lydia wasn't exactly sure how this would go. Or why she was helping given the last time they'd ever spoken. But Lydia knew now what she didn't know then, and Erica needed help. Lydia wasn't going to deny her fashion help. Erica had found herself after the bite and Lydia wasn't about to let that go to waste, not when the issue was only knowing how to ask for things. She could pass on a few tips. And clear the air a bit ]

I couldn't exactly let you walk around in Isaac's rags.

[ They might not have been rags but she didn't exactly think of Isaac as the most stylish person. She also didn't think too much of Isaac in general - things might have improved between them but... girls first. Especially someone like Erica ]

So what are we after?

[She doesn't argue with the rags comment, in the mood to burn the clothing - she really didn't care right now, just needed them gone.

Thinking for a moment, she toys with what she wants.]

I need a new look. Completely starting over. With everything I just -

[She sighs a little, running a hand through her hair, making a mental note that she needs a straightener as well.]

New place, new me. Any ideas?

A lot, actually.

[ She was Lydia Martin. She always had ideas - some quick ones that could work from a first glance, anyway. Something more thought out usually took a little longer but she'd start small and build on it, maybe even ask Erica what she thought or for any alterations. But Erica was letting her decide - it would work out great ]

A nice blue would go nicely with your hair and skin tone. More royal than lighter. A top, not a dress.

[ Erica had too much leg for that colour as a dress, and Lydia's idea of dresses would never work with that much leg ]

Jeans and boots.

[ Here's your time to veto the thought as she moves to the wardrobe to go wish it up ]

[She listens, not disagreeing.]

Yeah, darker colors and jewel tones tend to be more my thing.

[She didn't do soft, light colors - it gave off the wrong idea about her, about who she is now. Soft colors were for the more girly girls - those that could be coy and sweet.]

Sounds good to me.

[She follows her to the wardrobe, watching closely.]
