Summary: Lucifer craves- the downfall of humanity, among other things.
The Story:

[If there were ever a time when Lucifer would have rolled his eyes and given up tolerating this sad excuse for a world, it would have been now. Wonderland was small, comparatively speaking, and while he had heard all damage was quickly mended, it might feel nice to set all life dying in a solid block of ice.

But for one thing- Michael.

Instead, Lucifer turned to the other inhabitants. Browsing through their thoughts to see if there were any desires he could encourage to the point of self-destruction. Not as satisfying, but less likely to bring his brother's wrath down upon himself.

His desires regarding Michael were another thing entirely- and not something he necessarily wanted to contemplate here.]

[ooc: If your character needs a push to follow their darker desires, Lucifer can find them and gently encourage them that way. 8D]

[Wait. wait. What. Where did he come from?...Demons. He'll never get used to them looking...normal.]

It was fine.

[Lies.] It's considerably better with her here, but what can you do.

[Wow. Wow excuse you. Lucifer is no crummy demon.

But he keeps a pleasant smile on, his voice light-] If you lie to me again, you will regret it.

[Lindsey lowers his gaze] ...She makes me feel powerful. Different. [changing. And any doubts that he's had about it are swept aside. There's warmth in his chest]

I love her as much as I can love anyone.

[dissemble]

Has she told you how I first gave her life?

[There's a real twinge of unease in his voice] ...No.

[dissemble]

She was human, once. Just like you.

I saw that she could be more than what she was, and I helped her to realise that. [Do you see where Lucifer is going with this, Lindsey?]

[He chews on his nail] I...she's...we. It makes me. She's remaking me.

[He's not sure how to feel about it.]

[It's all a little pathetic really.]

You'll finally become what humanity was always supposed to be- and your love will only make you stronger then.

[He'd hate that, if he knew it. He hates when men use women. It's an old grudge that tastes bitter in his mouth.]

Did she tell you that? Or did you read my mind? Demons can do that.

I know. [He turns to meet his gaze] I sat in church. You were always the kind of guy held up to kids like me, just for being a little different ...to conform you know?

[He leans back against the grass] I didn't think you'd make a demon however.
