[He shrugs] Got here last week. Ish? I think, like you said it all happens so fast and I have barely slept anyway, days blur together.

I'm still getting the hang of all this, this is the first time I've actually come down to the beach.

It took me a while to get used to it.

( There wasn't really a 'used to it' but maybe more of an acceptance of it? )

Everyone here knows what that's like at least. People help you.

Well, that's good. [Even though it kind of clashes with the warnings Percy had given them. He said to be careful with the people, not the place itself... but Quinn seems nice. And he'd rather trust people anyway.]

Though I can't imagine getting used to being kidnapped like this, no matter how nice the place is.

I'd be worried if anyone was used to being kidnapped. It would probably say their life was pretty sucky.

( Once was definitely more than enough but Quin had talked to people who had been sent home and brought back. It just got worse )

Well... [He takes a look around.] I'm in a beach party meeting new people. I mean, yeah I want to go home and I know we will find the way out somehow, but for now I'm happy to enjoy the... holidays, I guess.

That's the idea. ( He was new and he already got her point - this was why there was a party. To forget about Wonderland a bit, and to just... enjoy themselves ) So where are you from?

[He's so comfortable he almost spouts 'New Rome' right away.]

I'm Canadian, but I've been living in San Francisco for a few months now. Or was, before suddenly wonderland.

It would be nice to go there one day. ( If she ever got out of Lima ) I'm from Ohio. I wouldn't recommend it.

I've only really been to San Francisco and Alaska. Why wouldn't you recommend it?

There just isn't really anything that great about it. Not where I'm from, anyway.
