Well, you must be from a nicer place than me, then. [ Simon stretches out comfortably, enjoying the mix of sun and waves on his skin. ] I'm quite content to remain stuck here for as long as this place'll have me.

What world are you from originally?

[ Simon's not sure how to answer that. ]

Uhh. Do they have names for alternate realities? Because I've got no idea. 'England' used to suffice for this, but that's not exactly the same for everyone anymore, is it?

[Billy gets it. He finds it easy to wrap his head around though, because you don't spend almost 6 months running though alternate realities looking for your twin without becoming used to it.]

Actually I think they do. At least in my reality we did. I'm from New York, in one of these realities.

Ahhh, one of those There's a bunch of you lot running around, aren't there?

[Billy raises an eyebrow at Simon curiously.]

The New York blokes. [ Simon waves a hand to encompass the whole lot of you. ] There's like, a whole herd of you or something. Every third person I talk to is from there. Wonderland must really like New York.

Oh. Yeah, it must, I'd say Wonderland has good taste but I'm not inclined to compliment the place that took me. I didn't realize there were so many of us from New York.

Maybe I just attract you. [ He shoots this back with a roguish grin. ] Maybe I'll start a collection.

You surfed into me, maybe you're just attracted to us. [Billy smirks back at him. He hasn't really flirted with anyone who wasn't Teddy in years, this is fun.]

A collection of Superheroes from New York? We aren't Pokemon.

Maybe that's what it is, then. Oh well, there are plenty worse things to be attracted to, right?

[ He gives Billy a cheeky look, happily content to flirt back. Then he laughed when the next wave washed up, mostly over Billy, a hint of mischief in his gaze.]

Are you sure? You could be Squirtle.

[Billy wiped water out of his eyes and sent Simon a mock glare.] Please if I'm a Pokemon then I'm definitely Pikachu. I hope you don't think you're Charmander.

Actually my knowledge of Pokemon kinda sucks, you'd have to ask my friend Sam what I am. Wasn't Charmander irritable? That would never work.
