Summary: Becky sets Wonderlanders up on blind dates. Also, will be image heavy.
The Story:

You receive a letter under your door sometime on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 9. This letter will be addressed to you in fancy script (Becky's best attempt at calligraphy) from a "secret admirer." You might be wondering, but it isn't February! What's with all the romantic nonsense? Well, my good friend, romance can be celebrated on more than just one day out of the year. That day happens to be today. The letter will ask you to meet your secret admirer at 6PM at a designated location. You'd best not be late! A night of romance (and perhaps even intimacy) awaits you! At least, she hopes so...

Once they're in the hallway, Kate waves her hand goodbye in return.]

Amazing date. [It's also said a touch sarcastically , but with a grin.] It's Kate, by the way. Guess I'll be seeing you around.

_{[This isn't an ideal way to make an introduction, and for a second Adam debates just nodding off the comment and continuing on his merry way, but ultimately he decides that if she's going to give her name, he can, too.]}

<sub>[In his time in Wonderland, Adam's learned to remind himself that not everyone is an unrepentant asshole and that he should give them the benefit of the doubt. Most, but not everyone. If he believes she'd been suckered into meeting him here the same way he'd been, then he's got no reason to get his hackles up at her personally.

Shrugging, he inclines his head toward the library and the table they'd left behind inside.]</sub>

Don't take it the wrong way if I say hopefully not too soon. I'm trying to keep the weird to a minimum.

[She raises an eyebrow, gesturing to the general vicinity around them.]

Really? In Wonderland? [She gives a dry laugh.] You don't strike me as the optimist type. Good luck with that.

<sub>[She might be surprised at just what you can start considering tolerable. Magic closets and random events? That's normal enough to Adam by now. But he's not about to put his neck out too far around here; asking for trouble is a great way to end up neck-deep in it.

To her credit, though, she hits the nail pretty much right on the head. Optimism, not so much.]</sub>
