Party Rock is in the House Tonight

Who: Everyone!
Where: The Ballroom.
When: Evening, 03/21/2015
Rating: T-ish, will warn if anything gets out of hand.
Summary: It is Billy Kaplan's birthday, and Loki is intent on throwing him a party.
The Story:

Loki is not a good friend. This is something about himself that he knows all too well.

He is, however, trying to be one. And he knows that when human birthdays come around, what one does for a friend is throw a party.

Asgardians are not known for doing things half ways.

The Party
The Mansion has been very helpful. Loki has figured out he can make the Mansion change its shape, so the proper ballroom has been transformed into a classy nightclub. There is a bar on one side, tables scattered around, and, of course, a dance floor. Loki has personally raided the kitchen for alcohol and party food, though it is very much help yourself.

One of the tables is obviously decked out for the guest of honor. A large cake sits on it, covered in dark blue frosting accentuated with white swirls. A banner exclaiming "Happy Birthday!" is hung above it.

Modern dance music fills the air, some songs that Loki recognizes and others he has never heard of, but they fit the mood. The lights on the dance floor look like someone has put multiple star projectors all together; everything is very galaxy-themed.

The organizer himself may be found tasting the drinks, admiring his work from somewhere along the wall, or even on the dance floor.

That seemed like an odd question to Scott. He thought about and remembered some of what Billy had told him. He'd noticed the Young Avenger did have a tendency to befriend the oddballs of the universe. They actually met over the spilling of Scott's biggest secret, marking him as an oddball himself.

"Yeah, you do. But... you don't like that idea, do you?" He canted his head slightly and frowned. He seemed as different as Teddy was, but not the same kind of different. Now he was curious. He wanted to use his eyes to see if this newcomer had an aura like Billy's or Kira's, but that would immediately give him away in this semi-darkened room. Another moment was had contemplating this before he just let it go entirely and the smile returned. "Even if you're not a hero, you're one of Billy's friends and that makes you pretty awesome, anyway." Scott happened to be one of the most forgiving people Loki would probably meet next to Billy himself.

"Oh. You're welcome and I'm sorry?" He... really wasn't too sure which he should be saying, so he settled for both, if a bit uncertainly.

"Yeah. We've been through some stuff together here. We kinda met by accident, but he's helped me out more than I can even repay." The puppy isn't under any kind of truth curse, but he certainly is a vaguely open book. For the most part.
