Who: House Tyrell & any visitors!
Where: 2nd Floor
When: 04/09 - 04/13
Rating: PG-13
Summary: The 2nd floor of the mansion is now proudly inhabited by those loyal to House Tyrell. This is a mingle log for House stuff and also for anyone who cares to pay them a visit. Come one, come all and bask in the glory that is the rose-filled hallway.
The Story: There's a calm feel to the 2nd floor, hallway filled with roses courtesy of a certain witch. With access to the dining room, there's no concern necessary over such things as food. It's a good life and relatively peaceful, though that doesn't mean their guard is down.
Be cautious setting foot on the 2nd floor harboring bad intentions as the roses are there for more than just decoration. Davina's spent a hefty amount of time enchanting them to ensnare those who would bring harm to those loyal to their house.
[ooc: feel free to throw up a top-level! let me know if anything needs to be added.]

OTA! Will match style
When not in the hall or her room, she can be found in the dining hall having set aside a corner for herself to relax. Her dress style had changed so much over the past months both here and back home, and yet it's hard to fight the urge to return to the backless dresses she used to wear. If the chance presents itself, she may even try to slip away to see her boyfriend on the first floor though this particular rose is careful not to wander... Just to be safe. While she's more than capable of defending herself, it's easier to maintain some of the calm without having to set someone on fire.]

In his hand is a rose to match the ones she loves but instead of any pigment, it's pure white. There's a small smile on his face as he waits for her to open the door and let him in.
When the door opens, he holds the flower out to her. ] Hello, beautiful young lady - I was in the neighbourhood and thought you might appreciate something almost as pretty as you.

Pulling open the door, it's hard to contain the smile that greets him as her eyes drift to the rose. Taking it, she brings it to her nose as she takes a step back to allow him into her room.]
You're too sweet.

He glances around her room like it's the first time he's been in there - even if he's been in her room before - to simply appreciate her existence. ]
How are you doing, darling? Staying out of that rubbish with the ballpit? [ The very rubbish Kol took a part in starting. ]

Please tell me you aren't involved in that. The last thing we need is a war tearing through this place.

I'm only doing what I think is correct - I suggested that we protect the children from harm. [ Kol gave her a fond smile. ] Are you going to chastise me for that, darling?
[ He couldn't imagine she'd want anything else for the children, they were innocent after all. It rubbed him the wrong way to imagine them coming to harm. ]

Said Quandary™ is not simple in the way that turning a fan on during the summer to solve the heating issue is simple, nor is it simple like a recipe for biscuit dough. Indeed, combining flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, and milk is tantamount to child's play (although he would never let a toddler near cooking equipment and/or high-speed food processors) compared to the problem from which he now suffers.
Anxious to quell his mounting fears Ned paces the Tyrell floor like a disgruntled, caged giraffe - all loping legs and ridiculous expressions. While some of his time is spent avoiding those roses that have wilted in the halls Ned attempts to occupy himself in the library, a distraction from the urge to wrap his fingers around a whisk from the first floor culinary establishment.
The kitchen feels so very far away, so inaccessible. But a day or two in might see him venturing into territory not his own, fearful of the consequences yet eager to bake.]
