Summary: to cheer everyone up after the event and to celebrate finally getting her act back together, queen elsa is using her powers to create a winter wonderland mini celebration, to bring a little, fun reminder of winter fun despite the hot weather. feel free to tag each other, too!


The Story:



( tea rooms! frozen desserts! )

[ the idea comes to her when it becomes clear that all is well again. or, as well as it can be. it is also clear that many people were as afraid as her. she walks among them and wishes she could do something to help. she has done all she can do to keep those who wanted to hurt others in bay, has kept the ice wall in her floor up as much as she would but now -

elsa is a queen and as such, she thinks she should know what to for morale but that always seemed to be anna's territory rather than her own.

and then the idea comes to use her powers for something - something - well, fun.

those who will wander to the tea rooms will find trays of ice creams scoops, frozen milkshake and other such frozen desserts and one snow queen, graciously waiting. ]

help yourself to whatever it is you want, I thought all could use a treat.


( ice skating )


[ the next day, she will go a bit further. the weather would remain hot but out in the grounds, a make do ice skating rink will appear! at the side, there would be pairs of skates just waiting to be picked up. she asked for several pairs from her own wardrobe but feel free to ask for a brand new pair of your own from yours. either way, get a pair and join the celebration! ]

( snow day! )

[ the last day, she will come out to the garden and grounds and with a swirl of hands, they will be filled with soft, cold snow that won't melt for hours and hours. it will be warm enough but there will be enough snow for snowball fights, snowmen and even to slide around at! elsa herself would be seen going between everyone and every now and then, adding a little more snow it it does melt ]

[and now he's talking to a bird why this why is this his life. Neku thinks to himself:] (Right . . . Person.)

Uh, I don't think I caught your name.

[mourning_ghost]

Fujishiro Nageki. [Eastern order seems appropriate.

He resumes attempting to make a snowman.]

[holdthephones]

I'm Sakuraba Neku. [he doesn't remember if he offered it before, so there it is.

Neku eyes the (at least slightly pathetic) attempts to roll together a snowman] Do you . . . need help with that?

[mourning_ghost]

I'd like that. If you know how to do this, maybe you can teach me. [He moves over to let Neku help.]

[holdthephones]

I've never done it before, but it never looked that complicated. [after a moment of deliberation, he starts making a medium-sized snowball] You know when someone says a situation snowballed? It's the same idea. Start small and build up to it.

[Neku rolls the snowball over to Nageki] Roll that around. You'll need two or three of 'em, so choose how big you wanna make it.

[mourning_ghost]

Alright.

[Nageki rolls the snowball around he has to struggle to move it.]

[holdthephones]

[Neku lets him struggle as he himself works on the base of the snowman. hey, Nageki's little bird body probably needs the workout, and Neku isn't doing this all for him. once he has a good butt going, he shoves it away]

What're you going for, anyway? Simple, a person you know, what?

[mourning_ghost]

Something simple is probably better to start with. And it might be difficult to make someone I know when almost all of them are birds.

[Nageki hasn't heard of a snowbird before. He could probably try to design someone from Wonderland, but he'd rather make an ordinary snowman to start out with anyway.]

[holdthephones]

[Neku shrugs] Don't see why you couldn't make a bird, but suit yourself.

[he'd much rather try his hand at sculpting; his hands itch for it, to engrave his creativity somewhere. instead, he clenches and unclenches a fist before moving on to the snowman's middle, gauging how big he'll have to make it based on Nageki's ball.

how's that coming, by the way?]

[mourning_ghost]

[It's probably as big as it's going to get. Nageki might be able to knock Hiyoko over when he catches her off-guard, but he still isn't that strong a bird.]

I'm not very artistic.

[holdthephones]

That's fine. I'm not really a sculptor anyway. This should do it-- [he stands and places the middle portion on the base. the middle starts to slide, so he knocks some snow off the base to flatten it. the base is far too big for the middle, so it looks really awkward. Neku makes a face before turning to Nageki]

I'm guessing you can't lift that, huh.

[mourning_ghost]

I can try. [Which he does. His part of the snowman lifts of the ground a little but it's still too heavy for him in the end and if falls back down quickly.]

It looks like I can't. Not on my own. The snow really is quite heavy.

[holdthephones]

For your little bird muscles, it would be. Ugh, whatever. [he leans down and picks up the head, whether Nageki stays on it or not. then he wordlessly plops it on top of its body]

There. I'm sure you can handle the decorations. Find shiny rocks or something.

[mourning_ghost]

I'll ask the closet for buttons and a carrot. [That's what people normally use to decorate snowmen, right?] Thank you for your help.
