Summary: to cheer everyone up after the event and to celebrate finally getting her act back together, queen elsa is using her powers to create a winter wonderland mini celebration, to bring a little, fun reminder of winter fun despite the hot weather. feel free to tag each other, too!


The Story:



( tea rooms! frozen desserts! )

[ the idea comes to her when it becomes clear that all is well again. or, as well as it can be. it is also clear that many people were as afraid as her. she walks among them and wishes she could do something to help. she has done all she can do to keep those who wanted to hurt others in bay, has kept the ice wall in her floor up as much as she would but now -

elsa is a queen and as such, she thinks she should know what to for morale but that always seemed to be anna's territory rather than her own.

and then the idea comes to use her powers for something - something - well, fun.

those who will wander to the tea rooms will find trays of ice creams scoops, frozen milkshake and other such frozen desserts and one snow queen, graciously waiting. ]

help yourself to whatever it is you want, I thought all could use a treat.

[ the next day, she will go a bit further. the weather would remain hot but out in the grounds, a make do ice skating rink will appear! at the side, there would be pairs of skates just waiting to be picked up. she asked for several pairs from her own wardrobe but feel free to ask for a brand new pair of your own from yours. either way, get a pair and join the celebration! ]

( snow day! )

[ the last day, she will come out to the garden and grounds and with a swirl of hands, they will be filled with soft, cold snow that won't melt for hours and hours. it will be warm enough but there will be enough snow for snowball fights, snowmen and even to slide around at! elsa herself would be seen going between everyone and every now and then, adding a little more snow it it does melt ]

[Amethyst laughs as well, following the pig with her eyes and deciding this means she won the encounter.]

Babies are sturdy! Well, not that sturdy, but they can play around.

[Unlike human babies, who are exceedingly fragile and she isn't allowed to be alone with them.]

[The Once-ler tries to step aside, but Boris just hurriedly follows to hide behind him.]

Uhh. ...It just kind of happened? This girl Clarisse tried to get some giant war boar or something from the closets like a year ago and wound up with a ton of piglets instead. They all got out and this one got in my room and decided he liked me or whatever so...she said I should keep him.

[He still can't imagine why anyone would trust him with animals at this point, or why any animals would want to be around him, but to his credit he at least tries to take care of the little guy.]

Aww, he's your li'l buddy! I didn't know you were a father. [You know, when she threw him in the garbage. That thing nobody's talking about?

Amethyst balls up some snow and tosses it towards Boris, in what she probably thinks is a playful manner but actually just comes off as kind of mean. He's already scared of her.]

A father? [He makes a bit of a face.] Uh. I dunno about that. I'm not really cut out to be a father to anybody.

[He says this, but it's pretty clear he's doing okay as a pig father. Boris is decidedly Not A Fan of being pelted with snowballs, and without thinking much about it the Once-ler scoops his piglet right up into the safety of his ridiculously long arms.]

[She watches him protectively pick up the pig and laughs.] Pssh, okay, Mr. Not A Pig Dad. That's definitely what I'm seeing here. Or not seeing. No piggy parents at all. Nuh-uh.

[Yeah, if it isn't clear she is being sarcastic, the way she leers at him might be another clue.]

[He can tell, but he's just going to choose to ignore it. He's pretty good at just ignoring things.]

Definitely not. Nope. [Except that Boris makes a whiny grunty noise and the Once-ler finds himself scratching the little guy behind his ears.] Not a pig dad whatsoever.

...Really. That's all you've gotta say? You're gonna let that little guy grow up without a father? [She underhand tosses another snowball his way.] I know if I heard my dad talking like that I'd be heartbroken.

[Except she doesn't have a dad, or a heart, so this is all... purely hypothetical, of course.]

[That...actually shuts him up for a second, though he does flinch at the snowball. He glances down at his piglet, clearly full of mixed emotions.]

Dads are overrated. But, I dunno. I guess when you put it like that...

[He trails off a little though. He's still pretty sure he'd be a mediocre dad to anything. He shakes his head a little.]

...Whatever. I take care of him, and that's what matters.

[She grins.]

Yeah. Now, are you gonna get in on this snowball action, or are you just gonna sit there letting me hit you for the rest of the day?

[She throws another snowball, this time aiming at his face.]

[This time he's smart enough to duck, and it flies by him. He grins though, and sets down Boris.]

If you're gonna be like that about it, I guess I've got no choice.

[So, he scoops up some snow, rolls it into a quick ball and lobs it at her.]

Hahaha, yeah!

[That's more like it! Amethyst tries to dodge the snowball, but it came too fast for her and it hits her soundly. She grabs two fistfuls of snow and just throws it without packing it first, spraying snow everywhere in the Once-ler's direction. She laughs and dives into the nearest snow bank to hide.]
