All Your Perfectly Delivered Lines [Open]

Who: Billy Kaplan and YOU
Where: Everywhere
When: Duration of the event and beyond if required (August 28- Sept 2)
Rating: V for Violence
Summary: Wiccan has a mission and he will see it through by any means necessary.
The Story:

Day One- August 28th

If it takes him a moment to orient himself, Billy doesn't let it show. There's a mission and nothing else matters. His orders are clear, compliance or death, and since Hydra has no use for the dead Billy sees it one way- just compliance by any means necessary.

He takes the first day for reconnaissance. The Solider might be more straight forward but Wiccan was trained for stealth. Get in, gain their trust make them think this is what they want, and if they continue to resist well, there are other methods. There is a reason he is called Wiccan, the power he possesses can get even the most resistant to comply.

If all else fails there's always a backup.

He spends the first day observing, meeting with his fellow operatives and picking out targets. Ones who seem to be familiar with him, that's good, they will trust him. After that he'll move on to the more difficult targets.

Day Two- Four. August 29-August 31

He deals with his targets, most of them are easy, but there are some who put up a fight, and some who get away. But they won't get away that easily. There is no other choice for them. Dying here isn't permanent their only choice is to join ranks. Hydra will win and Wiccan won't rest until they do.

But something is wrong, he keeps getting flashes- memories. Memories that can't be his. Images of a blonde boy smiling at him, laughing with him. He doesn't understand and he doesn't want to understand. It's a trick, it must be and he's seen that boy here. He must have skills like Wiccan if he's getting into his head. There's only one solution for that, Hydra could use someone with those skills. Wiccan will find him and Wiccan will force him to comply and he won't stop until this boy breaks. No one gets in his head and gets away with it. No one.

September 2 and after.

Billy isn't a stranger to guilt, but guilt like this- memories of what he did to the people he cares about to friends and stranger alike make him sick to his stomach.

He wakes with a start- remembering everything. Everything. Up to and including the look on Teddy's face as he snapped Billy's neck.

So he hides, he goes to the one person he knows won't judge him or look at him with pity and he hides from the people he hurt. He knows he can't hide forever and he needs to make amends. He knows the people who care about him won't hold it against him, it was Wonderland. It was this place, but that doesn't make it better, that doesn't take away the guilt. He doesn't think anything will, but he will try to fix it- somehow.

(OOC: Billy will spend the first day mostly just observing figuring out how relationship to the people who apparently recognize him. The next few days he will be recruiting. If we haven't previously discussed anything just let me know if you want him to brainwash your character, if you want them to get away, or if they are going to just lie to him and agree to comply just to escape.

He's going to be dying on the 31st and won't be waking up until after the event is over. If you want to do aftermath I'm more than up for that too. XD )

Teddy had been awake most of the early morning trying to figure out some way he didn't have to kill Billy.

It was the decision he had come to after he'd seen what had happened with Sam. Billy had gone too far. Even though Teddy knew it was Wonderland fucking with Billy's mind, he also knew how relentless Billy was when working towards a goal. Good or Bad, Billy wouldn't stop until the end result was accomplished. It was this tenacity that Teddy loved about Billy but now he was seeing the horrible consequences of ambition gone wrong.

Knocking Billy out wouldn't solve anything. Teddy wasn't certain how long this Wonderland Bubble would last. If he miscalculated and only incapacitated Billy for a short amount of time, he'd use more of his magic to become unstoppable. There was only one way of taking Billy out for good, or at least, until the madness had passed and they all returned to normal. Teddy hated himself for even thinking it but it was the only way.

He sent Billy a message:Meet me outside. Then, he waited for Billy to arrive. He would have to move fast, catch him off guard. There wasn't any time for doubt or hesitation. Teddy pushed all of the guilt and horror aside and shifted.

He was Hulkling. He was a hero. And heroes had to make tough decisions.

Loki was nursing a bruise or three, but they would be gone within the hour. He'd fled his attacker not out of fear for his own life, but because if they kept on, Loki would have killed him. Yes, death wasn't permanent here, but he would rather not have that man's blood on his hands. How absurd was this? He still couldn't fathom his own choice in the matter, but that wasn't his problem right now. His teleportation spell brought him to a comfort zone. One he knew well--or rather, it seemed to drop him smack-dab in the zone of someone of comfort. But as soon as he locked eyes with that someone, he knew something was wrong. Like the Captain, there was something off about the way Billy held himself. Of course there was... Because life just couldn't be easy, could it? He wouldn't fall for it twice.

"And how is our littlest magical prodigy? Not feeling himself, I gather? Pity. I had not the desire to fight you this day..."

[Kate isn't an idiot. As much as she wanted to trust Billy, she had to be sure that this event hadn't gotten the mansion messing with his memories and taking him along for the HYDRA-recruitment. Billy, in his right mind, would never be down for that. She knows that. But Wonderland changed all the playing fields, as disconcerting as it was to think it could out-reality-magic her reality-magic-jesus best friend.

So while Billy is going around spying on people, Kate is lurking in the shadows spying right back. Stealth had never been the Young Avengers style, but she was first and foremost Hawkeye. And she had learned plenty from Clint, even if he was something of an idiot at times.

The stupid thing is, she wants to talk to him, even though it'll probably lead to a fight. That stupidity was probably another thing she got from Clint. So she makes it seem like he's tracking her, like he's getting the drop on her. But he's not - she knows exactly what she's doing. And she's armed, just in case.

Though that may have been stupid too. You can't hide a bow like you can hide other weapons. Oh well.]

Hey Billy.

[Darcy had spent most of the first day of this mess just figuring out what she could with Bucky and making plans. Day two had been used to start setting up some safe spots for people to run to, foundations for the resistance and dealing with some of the ramifications of people she cared about being brainwashed.

This sucked on a massive level.

She'd been so focused on trying to get back to Bucky's safe room to update a few lists she hadn't even noticed she was no longer alone in the hallway. Awesome. She says his name as she turns to face him, trying to pick up if he was actually himself or not.]

Billy?

[Her voice is hesitant, already starting to take a few steps back just in case. Not good, really not good.]

Tommy has not seen Billy since the event started, and it scares the life out of him. He tore through Billy's room and then the magic room he had set up before his thoughts clear out enough to think of texting him.

Baby bro, where the hell are you?

Of course, he is not patient enough to wait for a response, continuing to flash around the mansion in search of him.

No. This wasn't good. Hah! That was the worst understatement ever. People being brainwashed. Because he obviously hadn't had enough of that at home, it had to get dragged into Wonderland too. And it's not the kind of event that he can just sit down in his room and ignore. They're hunting for people. Dragging them away now. Sam's already switched rooms a few times, been to check on Maxine because he can't lose her to this again. He just can't.

It's like hiding from zombies all over again.

He's on one of his runs down to check on Maxine now. Keeping out of the way. Armed with a baseball bat just in case.

The time to hesitate regarding her powers was through. They'd had days, now, to become aware of exactly what was going on, and while Wanda was not so vain as to say she already knew the boys who were supposed to be her sons well enough to know when they were not themselves, it had only taken a cursory glance at Billy's thoughts for her to see the truth. A quick glimpse in passing, before she'd quickly gone out of her way to remove herself from his path until her heart stopped racing in her chest and she figured out what this meant.

How were they supposed to deal with this? It was temporary, like so many other things that came to pass in Wonderland, but that made it no less problematic-- and with the sort of power that Billy had to his name, he wasn't the kind of person any of them wanted as an enemy.

She seeks him out not long after, opening herself up to search for his familiar thought patterns until they lead her in the direction of the training room, a knot tying itself in her stomach as she turns down that particular corridor. Ironic, in a way.
