All Your Perfectly Delivered Lines [Open]
Who: Billy Kaplan and YOU
Where: Everywhere
When: Duration of the event and beyond if required (August 28- Sept 2)
Rating: V for Violence
Summary: Wiccan has a mission and he will see it through by any means necessary.
The Story:
Day One- August 28th
If it takes him a moment to orient himself, Billy doesn't let it show. There's a mission and nothing else matters. His orders are clear, compliance or death, and since Hydra has no use for the dead Billy sees it one way- just compliance by any means necessary.
He takes the first day for reconnaissance. The Solider might be more straight forward but Wiccan was trained for stealth. Get in, gain their trust make them think this is what they want, and if they continue to resist well, there are other methods. There is a reason he is called Wiccan, the power he possesses can get even the most resistant to comply.
If all else fails there's always a backup.
He spends the first day observing, meeting with his fellow operatives and picking out targets. Ones who seem to be familiar with him, that's good, they will trust him. After that he'll move on to the more difficult targets.
Day Two- Four. August 29-August 31
He deals with his targets, most of them are easy, but there are some who put up a fight, and some who get away. But they won't get away that easily. There is no other choice for them. Dying here isn't permanent their only choice is to join ranks. Hydra will win and Wiccan won't rest until they do.
But something is wrong, he keeps getting flashes- memories. Memories that can't be his. Images of a blonde boy smiling at him, laughing with him. He doesn't understand and he doesn't want to understand. It's a trick, it must be and he's seen that boy here. He must have skills like Wiccan if he's getting into his head. There's only one solution for that, Hydra could use someone with those skills. Wiccan will find him and Wiccan will force him to comply and he won't stop until this boy breaks. No one gets in his head and gets away with it. No one.
September 2 and after.
Billy isn't a stranger to guilt, but guilt like this- memories of what he did to the people he cares about to friends and stranger alike make him sick to his stomach.
He wakes with a start- remembering everything. Everything. Up to and including the look on Teddy's face as he snapped Billy's neck.
So he hides, he goes to the one person he knows won't judge him or look at him with pity and he hides from the people he hurt. He knows he can't hide forever and he needs to make amends. He knows the people who care about him won't hold it against him, it was Wonderland. It was this place, but that doesn't make it better, that doesn't take away the guilt. He doesn't think anything will, but he will try to fix it- somehow.
(OOC: Billy will spend the first day mostly just observing figuring out how relationship to the people who apparently recognize him. The next few days he will be recruiting. If we haven't previously discussed anything just let me know if you want him to brainwash your character, if you want them to get away, or if they are going to just lie to him and agree to comply just to escape.
He's going to be dying on the 31st and won't be waking up until after the event is over. If you want to do aftermath I'm more than up for that too. XD )

Monday, August 31 - Courtyard
It was the decision he had come to after he'd seen what had happened with Sam. Billy had gone too far. Even though Teddy knew it was Wonderland fucking with Billy's mind, he also knew how relentless Billy was when working towards a goal. Good or Bad, Billy wouldn't stop until the end result was accomplished. It was this tenacity that Teddy loved about Billy but now he was seeing the horrible consequences of ambition gone wrong.
Knocking Billy out wouldn't solve anything. Teddy wasn't certain how long this Wonderland Bubble would last. If he miscalculated and only incapacitated Billy for a short amount of time, he'd use more of his magic to become unstoppable. There was only one way of taking Billy out for good, or at least, until the madness had passed and they all returned to normal. Teddy hated himself for even thinking it but it was the only way.
He sent Billy a message:Meet me outside. Then, he waited for Billy to arrive. He would have to move fast, catch him off guard. There wasn't any time for doubt or hesitation. Teddy pushed all of the guilt and horror aside and shifted.
He was Hulkling. He was a hero. And heroes had to make tough decisions.

When he gets to the courtyard there is no sign of the blonde boy. He doesn't know he's supposed to be looking for a giant green Hulkling.

But then he remembered the look on Kate's face when she described fighting Billy, only narrowly escaping. The robotic way Tommy spoke to him and the look of pain and confusion that didn't belong in Tommy's eyes. And Sam... no. Teddy couldn't let Billy keep hurting people. For his sake and the others. There was no telling when he'd stop or if he would stop. Billy's magic was too powerful for any restraints Teddy could come up with. There was only one solution and he couldn't back away.
He pushed away all of the fond memories to focus on the present. He needed to act swiftly if this was going to work. Teddy remembered how Tommy had responded when he called him Speed, thinking that Teddy was one of HYDRAs agents. Perhaps the same thing would work on Billy.
"Wiccan," he called, keeping his voice emotionless. He'd heard how the others spoke and mimicked it perfectly. "Approach."

However, he approached, better to not let the enemy know that you are on to them. "Sir?"
no subject
When Billy approached he stood rigid, keeping his gaze cool. He couldn't let any sign that he recognized Billy other than as another HYDRA soldier. "I've been ordered to verify your directives," he said. "What is your status?"

"Your orders have changed. I am to return you to base where you will be given further instructions."

"You are to come with me back to base. That is a direct order from the top. Am I going to have to report you for insubordination and recommend you for further recruitment procedures?"
no subject
"Funny, how the direct orders are being relayed to a rookie, and not one of my superiors. You didn't really think this plan through, did you?"
no subject
"It was worth a try," Teddy said, dropping the act. "Do you know who I am?"
no subject

"I'll tell you what. If you can tell me my name only then I will comply. If you can give me any shred of information about me other than what HYDRA has fed you, then I'll let you do whatever you want with me. How does that sound? Can you do that?"
Wow. I can't words tonight.
no subject
"Wrong answer," he said and launched himself at Billy with a cry, using his much larger frame to wrestle him to the ground. His limbs shifted, turning long and flexible as he wrapped his arms and legs around Billy, trapping him in a sea of green.
"What's my name?" he said, the panic that he thought was safely tucked away now roaring to life. "Please, Billy. Just call me by my name. I know you're in there, damn it. Please. I don't want to do this."
no subject
"Get off me, freak." Wiccan growled sending lightening out from his fingers and into the shifter taking care not to damage him too badly. A damaged asset would be of no use to anyone.
no subject
He stretched his arm up to wrap around Billy's neck, squeezing tight. He was trembling and not just from pain now. His heart was thumping hard in his chest and he felt he was about to be sick. "Please," he begged him. "Just call me by my name, B. I know you remember me. I know there's a part of you that doesn't want this. Remember something - anything. I don't want to lose you again. Not like this. Just call me by my name and all this can stop."
no subject
He kept asking him to do something but Wiccan didn't know what it was talking about. "Shut up", he said and there was power behind those words, rendering the thing mute. Now he could concentrate on getting it off him, and maybe salvaging some of this.
no subject
I'm so sorry, he thought as he increased pressure on Billy's neck. He squeezed tight, feeling the bones shift beneath his skin. With a quick jerk of his arm he felt the bones snap and he let out a sob, unable to hold his crumbling resolve in place.
