Rage me closer, tiny dancer
Who: The Hulk or Bruce Banner and OPEN
Where: near the gardens
When: March 6th
Rating: PG
Summary: Bruce Banner has been shrunken by the Tiger-Lilies. These are some of his tiny adventures.
The Story:
The Hulk
If one is to look closely at the ground by the gardens, they might find a very strange sight. A Hulk, no more than 4 inches tall, is slamming his angry green fists into the snow that stands in his way, tearing out blades of grass from the ground and screaming tiny rage-filled screams. The destruction that he's normally capable of is no less furious, even if it is on a much smaller scale, as he searches to destroy anything even remotely flower-like.
Bruce Banner
Later, there is a tiny Bruce Banner shivering in the snow. He's managed to scrape together a leaf covering as he slowly and painstakingly makes his way towards the mansion. This is going to take a while and he's not even sure how he's going to fix this, but at least it's warm inside and he can stay close to the wall so no one can accidentally kick or step on him. Maybe Tony can help him figure this out.
At this size, at least he knows that the Big Guy hadn't managed much damage, but at the same time he's angry at himself for losing control at all.

The Itsy Bitsy Hulk ;D
Tony moves closer and crouches down, scooping melting snow aside for a better view of the tiny terror wreaking havoc on the local flora. He isn't sure whether to be amused as all hell or worried that something was able to shrink the Hulk. So he settles on staring agape with a small sound of confusion.
"...huh." Tony cocks his head to the side. "Well, this is novel. Hey big--err... little guy? Let's take a breath here, okay? C'mon. I don't suppose you'll be able to tell me what happened in that state, will you?"
no subject
Deliberately, he rips a flower-like weed out of the ground and shakes it angrily at Tony, as if to tell Tony what those flowers had done to Banner.
no subject
"This... could be a problem. I mean, don't get me wrong, pocket-sized Hulk is kinda awesome, but also kinda problematic. ...and you probably hate this, so let's stick with problematic. So I met a guy who was turned into a bone bug--that's better than my first play on words nickname I had for him, trust me--and now the Itsy Bitsy Hulk. We'll fix this. Promise." But first, he needs a little more information.
"So, what'd it ask you for? Sawdust?" Yeah, probably not, but it was worth a try. He also doubted he'd get an eloquent answer from the little green guy.
no subject
He wants this fixed and the only reason he's standing still is because he thinks that this man can fix it. He's a fixer.

Awkwardly and almost Bruce-like, he shrugs.
honey who shrunk the scientist?
When she leans down to pick it up, she's not looking directly at it and so catches the sight of someone's little action figure moving.
Hang on. Action figures don't move.
Still, Faith grabs her device and stands back up to blink for awhile. Blinking helps, surely, when you've just seen a tiny naked man, right? She crouches, then, craning her neck to get a closer look. She'd heard the rumors about the garden around the mansion, but it's still a pretty unbelievable sight.
"Hey, little dude. You supposed to be that small?"
Always best to check, right?
( ooc: jane was out i hope this is ok! )
(haha no this is great!)
He sighs and adjusts the leaf he's using to cover himself.
"No, I'm not supposed to be this small."
\o/
Faith takes a moment to look around the immediate area first before putting her knees on the ground and lowering herself down while hoping little naked dude doesn't crawl into her cleavage. (Been there, done that.)
"OK, say again. Maybe yell?"
no subject
And the he releases his breath and relaxes, looking a little sheepish. Yelling feels silly, but if he has to do it to be heard, he will.
no subject
Yeah, that's about right. Shit sounds like a perfectly good reaction to this situation. Faith's stunned for a moment, trying to work through and think of a good solution to finding a tiny man in the grass. She's not a witch, and she's not a scientist. Faith knows punching. She's generally a tool, broadly speaking.
"Uh. Wanna lift to the mansion? Probably safer, anyway."
With that, she extends her hand out and lays it in the grass before him.
no subject
"Please!"
He makes sure that his leaf is staying put and then he scampers awkwardly onto her hand, sitting in the center of her palm and bracing himself for a rocky ride up. This would be less frightening if he didn't understand how relative size and distance work.
"Thanks. Um... I'm Bruce."
no subject
The grace of a slayer is one thing when she's fighting demons and dusting vampires. It's another when she's trying not to drop and/or squish a tiny man. She pays probably more attention to not closing her fist than the process of getting up, and slips. Elbow in the grass, there's a still a jolt up through her hand as she catches herself with her free one.
"Shit--"
no subject
"Careful!"
no subject
"Sorry about that. Don't do tiny guy transport often. You good?" She'll wait for confirmation before moving again, considering what a fiasco this has already become...
no subject
He's probably joking. Actually, he hopes he's joking.
no subject
"So, mind if I ask...? You piss off a witch or something?"
no subject
no subject
Faith walks slowly, doing her best to keep from bumping up and down as she goes while still holding him close enough to her face to hear him.
"Anywhere specific I should drop you off? I might be able to get a witch or someone on the line to try to resize you."
Iddy Biddy Bruce
Bonus she could remember her name and where she was. If she just ignored the little vignettes and the weird shit popping up in the garden, it'd be groovy. Or at least that's what she firmly believed until one of the started barking at something in the hallway. She stops to reel in the dogs before bending down to take a closer look. Is that-- "H-oooooooh my god, Bruce?"
And it's almost like one of them recognizes the name and is fighting against the leash to say hello with a big ol' kiss. "Mocha, no! The doctor is not a chew toy!" Oh boy.
no subject
"Yeah, no chewing on me."
He waves up at Darcy awkwardly.
"So this happened."
no subject
"Do you need help getting somewhere or... I guess this is the first time I've actually had to deal with the 'Honey I shrunk the scientist' thing so, I'm gonna need a sec to catch up here."
no subject
"Replace the shrink ray with needy flowers and we're on the same page." He shrugs.
no subject
Easier than supersizing it all, really.
Bruceling!
Oh. Well. That explains-- absolutely nothing, but crouches down to get a better look, frowning.
"Dr. Banner?"
no subject
"Wanda! How far am I from the mansion? I can't even tell from down here." He's just lucky that the mansion looms so tall that he knew which direction to go.
no subject
She can only imagine how long it might take him to drag himself back to the mansion as he is, especially in the freezing cold. She shakes her head slightly, holding a hand out to him almost immediately, against the ground with her palm turned upwards to make it easier for him to climb aboard.
"Perhaps it would be easier if I gave you a lift," she remarks dryly. "The sooner we can find you something to wear, the better."
no subject
"Thanks. I, uh, I really appreciate it."
no subject
For all the damage Wonderland did-- or tried to do, in its own way-- it hardly ever lasted, at least not the physical aspects. She offers him a grim smile as she begins to carry him towards the mansion and, inevitably, warmth, shaking her head to dismiss the offer of thanks.
"How did this happen? Do you know?"
no subject
A lot shorter. A world shorter. Obviously it had been the flowers, but once he'd started putting it together, it had been on the verge of too late for a pleasant conversation.
"Wonderland usually seems to put things back after a while, but there are at least a couple of magic users I can call if it doesn't."
no subject
"While I am sure Wonderland will return you to normal-- if nothing else, Billy may be able to help." She sounds almost proud, in fact-- Billy could do a great many things that she couldn't even imagine being capable of, though apparently her alternate self was quite adept with magic as well. "Where is your room?"
no subject
"Billy could be a good lead. He knows a lot more about magic than I do." Which means anything at all beyond what he's scrounged together here.
no subject
"I have yet to see your lab. Is it as much of a hazard as Stark's seems to be?"
It's not a dig at Tony, not really. Last time she'd seen Tony's workshop, it had been torn apart by goblins-- not a sight easily forgotten.
no subject
Potentially, Bruce has a lot of dangerous things in his lab, but he does try to keep it neat and secure. What's the point of having nice things if you're going to trip over them. Other than his brief time with Tony, he's spent much more time on the run than with a nice lab at his disposal and he's thankful enough for it that he tries to keep it nice.
"I wouldn't drink any unlabeled liquids."
