+ FOURTH WALL EVENT: HOUSE PARTY +
Who: E V E R Y O N E
Where: Wonderland's Second Mansion, near the southern walls
When: Sept 1st to Sept 10th
Rating: G to PG-13 (please label higher ratings, thank you!)
Summary: It's a whole party mansion! Have a look inside, explore, make yourselves at home! And don't forget to have a look at the Fourth Wall Master Post for event rules, puzzle clues, and more places to mingle!
The Story:

Beginning on September 1st, something more than grass has suddenly grown near the southern walls. A second mansion has sprung up overnight! With only three floors and a strangely makeshift look about it it doesn't seem to compare to the original at first glance, but there's plenty enjoyment to be had inside!
The first floor houses a series of restaurants, diners, and coffee shops. No matter your style or intentions, this floor will find something to your taste! (Provided you, too, really love the colour red.) Of course all foods and services are free, and provided invisibly and without delay - no need to tip the unseen magical forces! ♥
The second floor is this mansion's beating heart - quite literally so! Disco beats shake this massive dancefloor 24/7, and the open bar provides party refreshments for responsible hydration and/or happy cocktail hour. Invisible DJ not playing your song? Man the turntables yourself, or sneak off into the karaoke corner! By the way, it doesn't take a keen observer to notice the common theme of this floor's design.
(Although it falls to the curious party guest to notice the peculiar paint splashes on one of the walls, and a little patience to stick around long enough for the travelling spotlights to reveal their message.)
Despite the busy party below, the third floor is surprisingly quiet, and pleasantly so. It invites crisp and clean comfort, be it to sit, to sleep, or to mingle in the comfy common rooms in front of their warm chimneys. From single bedrooms to large dormitories all guests have plenty of room to make use of fluffy pillows galore, be it to sleep on, to fight with, or to build.

[Hang on. He doesn't recognize that voice. Stefan peers up from his writing, trying to place if and where he's seen this guy before. A dream, maybe? A far-off memory??
He's coming up blank, and it's unsettling, because this guy clearly knows him.]
Sorry, uh - I'm not sure I'm the Stefan you know.
no subject
[He tips his head slightly and tries to suss out that weird, curiously confused look on his face and then the dots connect in a single sentence.] Huh. Weird. [He leans forward against the table a bit.] D'ya have any idea who I am?
no subject
You're... related to Rebekah, right? [He almost looks proud of himself.] I remember something about a family dinner, or a ball, or maybe both.
no subject
I am. [He nods with a slight grin which fades into something more nostalgic at the mention of family dinners and balls.] Mmm, yeah, that was-- awhile ago for me now, mate. [He leans forward on his arms against the table.] You really don't remember, do you? What happened? [He's blunt and curious, sue him. He's not a cat, he'll be fine.]
no subject
No, sorry - a couple of years ago, I lost my memories. They've been coming back in bits and pieces, but nowhere near fast enough for my liking.

Klaus wishes he had that power. No, it's more... [It's more like what? That he got reincarnated? That's a sentence (and a thought) best left for another time.] It's more that I got pulled into another dimension, and the entry fee was every memory I had.

[He gestures to his daylight ring, even though he's more than certain Kol knows just how important it is to their kind.]
I'm pretty sure I won the "crappiest dimension" award, and that includes this place.

Sounds like. Lawrence had an Apocalypse going on, which was sort of insane in it's own rights, but I mean...we kept all the things that made us, us.
no subject
[Usually, he's the one explaining the weird jamjar rules to everyone...]
But I don't know, the Apocalypse might be a close second.
no subject
He shrugs one shoulder.] Wasn't so bad. Made a lot of friends, got a brother-in-law out of the deal, got to kill things. Pretty good gig, if you ask me.

[#reincarnationproblems
But in all seriousness, Stefan's pretty damn proud of his next life. He was an honors student, all-around interfaith activist, and even someone who didn't hesitate to sacrifice his life for the greater good. His shame doesn't come from his next life. Nah, it comes from thinking that no one would believe him.]
A brother-in-law, you say? He must've been a pretty great guy.
no subject
[He can't stop the slight twitch of a smirk at that.] Ah, he's all right.
no subject
I know because I was able to leave. I met my grandparents back in Jordan, and I headed out of town to visit my parents and other-Damon. If I didn't live any part of it, then whoever captured me should've prevented me from leaving town.
But they didn't.
no subject
Really? Huh. [That is odd. And surprising. And fascinating all wrapped up in one.] so, then, you've literally got two lives and two sets of memories running concurrently through your head? [Kol was no stranger to creating another life for the sake of things like never aging and the constant need to be on the run and throw Mikael off his tracks, but this is a completely different thing altogether.]
no subject
That... about sums it up, yeah. Let's just say that my two lives don't exactly see eye-to-eye on everything.
no subject
no subject
Well enough. The memories don't come back in one piece, and it's been long enough that I know what belongs to me and what doesn't.
At this point, it's all a matter of who I want to be.
no subject
And Stefan's next comment, of course, begs the question:] Have you figured out who it is you want to be yet?
[Kol's been in his own sort of re-working of who he is for awhile by now, it's not all that different from who he'd always been, but some things... something things are definitely different. And it's all for the people that he'd met in Kansas. He's certain he'd have never come to where he is now without the lot of them.]
no subject
[Without all of his memories, Stefan can't eschew the guy he used to be. Nor can he forget about his current life. He's firmly somewhere in the middle, with two lives and two sets of values to respect - and well? He thinks he has the right idea of how to balance them out.]
Then again, regular people don't always know who they want to be either.
no subject
no subject
[He laughs, not unkindly, though Kol has a point. Normal is such a subjective term that its very definition will change from person to person.]
no subject
A thought occurs to him thought and he tips his head slightly.] Any of my siblings around in that other place you were in?
[The question isn't as random as it may seem, Stefan. Bear with him, he has a thought process going, here.]
no subject
[As far as he knows, he was the only one who was pulled from their universe. No one's told him any different - and Stefan's paranoid enough to know if they had regained memories.]
