Summary: It's a whole party mansion! Have a look inside, explore, make yourselves at home! And don't forget to have a look at the Fourth Wall Master Post for event rules, puzzle clues, and more places to mingle!
The Story:

Beginning on September 1st, something more than grass has suddenly grown near the southern walls. A second mansion has sprung up overnight! With only three floors and a strangely makeshift look about it it doesn't seem to compare to the original at first glance, but there's plenty enjoyment to be had inside!

The first floor houses a series of restaurants, diners, and coffee shops. No matter your style or intentions, this floor will find something to your taste! (Provided you, too, really love the colour red.) Of course all foods and services are free, and provided invisibly and without delay - no need to tip the unseen magical forces! ♥

The second floor is this mansion's beating heart - quite literally so! Disco beats shake this massive dancefloor 24/7, and the open bar provides party refreshments for responsible hydration and/or happy cocktail hour. Invisible DJ not playing your song? Man the turntables yourself, or sneak off into the karaoke corner! By the way, it doesn't take a keen observer to notice the common theme of this floor's design.

(Although it falls to the curious party guest to notice the peculiar paint splashes on one of the walls, and a little patience to stick around long enough for the travelling spotlights to reveal their message.)

Despite the busy party below, the third floor is surprisingly quiet, and pleasantly so. It invites crisp and clean comfort, be it to sit, to sleep, or to mingle in the comfy common rooms in front of their warm chimneys. From single bedrooms to large dormitories all guests have plenty of room to make use of fluffy pillows galore, be it to sleep on, to fight with, or to build.

She was not. We did not discover Freya was still alive until a couple of years later. It's a long story.

[Everything with her family is.]

Ah. [...] If you're willing, I have the time to hear it.

[Not like he was planning on anything else, except maybe finding a space to sleep...]

Sure. It seems we have plenty of places to sit if you'd like to settle in to hear it.

[stefanged]

Sounds good. Do you wanna lead the way, or should I, or - [or maybe they'll go at it together. Stefan shrugs, turning towards the hallway and walking beside her.]

[easily]

We'll explore together. [This new mansion is a mystery to her, honestly.

And after a little wandering she'll come across one of the many couches covered in pillows and sit down on one of the ends of it.]

This will work.

[stefanged]

[He nods, sitting down beside her and trying so hard not to memorize every aspect of her face, like he'll never see it again. Technically, he's living her now, but also - he feels like he'll be ripped away from her again. He's not sure why.]

So... Freya was your older sister, right?

[It's strange how many familiar faces have shown up in the last few days. She's trying not to overthink it.]

She was. I never met her until about a year ago or so -- my mother had given her away before I was born.

[stefanged]

Oh. I'm... that's.... I'm sorry, Rebekah.

[What do you even say to that piece of information? Stefan can't imagine not knowing about his siblings (well, sibling, since Damon's the only consistent one).]

It is what it is. [It's sad, but she has Freya now. For that much, she's grateful for.]

Our mother had given her away to our Aunt, a powerful witch named Dahlia who had helped her be able to have children at all.

[stefanged]

Ah. [That answer raises more questions than answers, frankly...] So she's not an Original?

[easily]

She's not a vampire, no. She's a witch, like we would have been had my parents not turned us.

[stefanged]

So... how'd you end up meeting her again? Can't imagine it was easy for her to head all the way to New Orleans.

[easily]

It wasn't. She first made her way there in the 1900s, and then she got stuck in an asylum for witches for about a hundred years. That's where I eventually met her.

[While...in another witch's body but she's leaving out details to simplify the story for Stefan.]

[stefanged]

Oh. ["I'm glad you were able to pull her out." But that seems too straight-forward, even for him.] That must've been quite the reunion.

[easily]

It was, to say the least. We didn't know if we could trust her, at first. But we do now. It's nice, having a sister, all those years with my brothers, I had wondered what it would be like.

[stefanged]

And? [His expression softens.] Is it everything you thought it'd be?

[easily]

[She smiles fondly, nodding her head a little.] It is. I love my brothers, but there's centuries of bad history there and with Freya we both get something we've always wanted without the baggage of time involved -- I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have her.

[stefanged]

[He wouldn't dare ask her about that gratefulness either. Stefan knows he feels the same way about Damon, bad history and all - his older brother (regardless of the universe) is his entire world.]

I can imagine. I'm glad you can at least reconnect with her here. [beat] And Klaus, though I can't imagine how he's dealing with this.
