[Ford realizes his heart is pounding and his chest, tight, so he tries to calm himself. Having Stan wake him out of that confrontation with his own bête noire is incredibly relieving. He lets the hug linger, unwilling to let go for the irrational sense that the dream might pull him under again; like Stan is a lifeline, an anchor to reality.]

[Should I tell him? Why not?

Why, though? It's not something he needs to know. He'll worry, and then he'll nag you. Stan will do that anyway.

He won't take it seriously. He'll tell you it doesn't matter. Bill still isn't something your brother understands. It's not like I understand Bill...

Ford pulls back at last and takes a deep breath. He feels like he just tried to run a marathon.]
