OTA ; Don't Stop, Make it Pop, DJ Blow My Speakers Up
Who: Lucifer Morningstar and OTA
Where: Deux Lux, Floor 6, Room 66
When: Anytime in March
Rating: TBD, probably PG-13 or so
Summary: Lucifer does what he does almost every other night - he has a party. Shenanigans and conversation ensue. This is essentially a catch-all for March for him. Let me know if you want something specific.
The Story:
[Once the drama of New Years dies down and he's drunk the entirely of his bar two or more times, Lucifer finally reopens his club to the public, seemingly no worse for the wear. He's chatted with a few specific people, reflected (marginally) on himself a bit, and has come to several conclusions.
All of which he'll be keeping to himself for the most part.
That said, he seems a bit brighter than even when he first arrived, as if there's a bit of weight off his shoulders, and he's almost less of a businessman and more of a guest in his own place as the nights continue on. He drinks along with everyone else, dances when he pleases, and plays the piano often, lending his singing voice more than occasionally.
Still, a few things weight on his mind that he'll need to take care of, but on the whole, he's quite chipper and easily approaching....or as approachable as the Devil can be.
That said, he's not seen a whole lot outside of his nightclub or his penthouse up the stairs, which means he might be a little more reclusive still than he first appears...]

[ Look, he burns soup. Sandwiches are impressive. ]
[ He laughs at Caroline's words. ]
I will steer clear of any and all chili's she tries to offer me.
no subject
( das rude, caroline. )
It's a family recipe, and I got the hang of it eventually. ( pause. ) Somewhat.
( damon had to help and that alone is kind of embarrassing. )
no subject
[Because there's no other way it turned out good. She refuses to believe it.]
You're great at a lot of things, Elena. Cooking is not one of them, I'm sorry.
no subject
Well I don't know about chili but that sandwich was pretty good. Although, to be fair the kitchen did give us precooked chicken.
[ He looked over at Caroline and shot her a smile. They hadn't actually met before this although Elena and Bonnie had talked about her. ]
I'm Billy, by the way.
no subject
in the end, she just gives a laugh. (her chili is pretty bad.) ) Okay! Okay, I'll concede. ( cooking is better left to others. )
Billy, this is the Caroline you've heard all about. She rounds out the trio with me and Bonnie back home.
no subject
We're like a much more attractive three stooges, really.
no subject
[ He looks back and forth between them amused. ]
no subject
I believe, for the sake of our friendship, we should best leave that to your imagination.
( she lifts up a slice of lime in offer. ) Are you in the mood to join us?
no subject
[Caroline Forbes is the definition of peer pressure.]
no subject
[ Not that he would have. ]
What are we having?
no subject
Tequila. A true test of grit and courage.
no subject
[She's teasing though, as evidenced by the way she winks at Elena.]
First, we're going to need some salt.
[As she picks up the shaker and waggles it back and forth.]
Wrists, please!
no subject
[ He can't help the grin thats on his face, its nice to see Elena acting laid back and its even nicer to find himself relaxing and having fun. ]
[ He holds his wrist out to Caroline. A few years ago he wouldn't have even known what to do here, but you catch on quick in Wonderland. Alcohol is a great distraction. ]
no subject
( it works wonderfully with tequila and lbr, sometimes outside of it. )
no subject
Salt, shot, lime. Easy peasy.
[She puts down the shaker and takes a lime in her off hand.]
Ready?
no subject
[ There might be a bit of a blush spreading across his face as he realized what he said but he just keeps going, taking the lime in his spare hand and nodding. ]
I was born ready.
[ Now he's resisting the urge to face palm, as his mouth just seems to want to embarrass him. ]
no subject
this is beneficial in several different instance, f t r, but right now, it's all about the tequila. )
1, 2, and go!
( she gives her lil tequila dance (yes, there is a tequila dance) as she tosses her head back to take the shot. )
no subject
Elena counts down and she licks her wrist before knocking back the shot, wincing as she sticks the lime in her mouth and presses her teeth in, sucking hard as she does her own little dance.]
See! Perfection.
no subject
Ugh. That never gets any better.
[ Says the boy that can rewrite reality. ]
no subject
( elena's assurance comes with a kiss on his cheek, because if elena is tactile on a good day, tequila only intensifies her cuddly nature. ) But you should know that this is only the first one. We're not quitters, Billy.
no subject
[She winks.]
Second round coming right up! Be careful though, Elena. You know I can drink you under the table.
no subject
[ He grins right back at them. ]
I'm sure you both can drink me under the table.
no subject
( though she does share a mischievous look with caroline. once upon a time, these two girls were cheerleaders, and they knew what it was like to hold their small, insignificant, perfect little world in the palm of their hands. that was long ago. )
I'd like it if all of us can walk out of here on our own two legs before the night is over.
no subject
[The lift of the corner of her mouth proves she's teasing however before her grin widens and she seems to relent.]
But fine. I guess that's fair.
