OTA ; Don't Stop, Make it Pop, DJ Blow My Speakers Up
Who: Lucifer Morningstar and OTA
Where: Deux Lux, Floor 6, Room 66
When: Anytime in March
Rating: TBD, probably PG-13 or so
Summary: Lucifer does what he does almost every other night - he has a party. Shenanigans and conversation ensue. This is essentially a catch-all for March for him. Let me know if you want something specific.
The Story:
[Once the drama of New Years dies down and he's drunk the entirely of his bar two or more times, Lucifer finally reopens his club to the public, seemingly no worse for the wear. He's chatted with a few specific people, reflected (marginally) on himself a bit, and has come to several conclusions.
All of which he'll be keeping to himself for the most part.
That said, he seems a bit brighter than even when he first arrived, as if there's a bit of weight off his shoulders, and he's almost less of a businessman and more of a guest in his own place as the nights continue on. He drinks along with everyone else, dances when he pleases, and plays the piano often, lending his singing voice more than occasionally.
Still, a few things weight on his mind that he'll need to take care of, but on the whole, he's quite chipper and easily approaching....or as approachable as the Devil can be.
That said, he's not seen a whole lot outside of his nightclub or his penthouse up the stairs, which means he might be a little more reclusive still than he first appears...]

[closed] for klaus
If you would be so kind as to drop by my club tonight, I would appreciate it.
I believe we have some things we need to discuss.
I promise to be an excellent host in every way.
Respectfully,
Lucifer Morningstar

no matter how he's both unsettled and relieved to receive it. on one hand, if lucifer has a miraculous change of heart and plans to finish what he started in full view of a potential public (considering the club is open; he had noted) he's hardly excited about what will result. on the other, at least he knows where they stand.
he shows up not a few hours later, somewhat into the club's usual festivities, seeing no reason to dilly dally. klaus enters the club with purpose and only pauses to spot lucifer; then he strides over, ignoring the clench in his gut.
(he is not afraid of what violence he doubts will befall him. he doesn't fear lucifer's judgements or rejection, nor his own sense of remorse he feels for this unintended slight and betrayal. he fears the hurt that will accompany both. that does.) klaus stops beside the bar lucifer is occupying. ] You rang? [ he greets lucifer, and perhaps a bit sardonically, resting a hand on the back of an empty stool. he might be a little on guard js. ]

[Of course, the fashionable Mr. Gray did not arrive under-dressed. He might even be a little overdressed for the occasion but he doesn't mind all too much. He lingers at the counter, listening to the music blaring throughout the room, watching the dazzling lights reflecting off the other patients. This is a hedonist's paradise, Dorian thought, and a fitting place for the devil himself!]
[It's funny, really. Only a couple of months ago, Dorian might have feared meeting Lucifer in Hell. But now, here he is, waiting for him to show up with a drink menu.]
no subject
Ah, hello.
[He flashes Dorian a winning smile, handing over a small laminated black menu with gold writing, containing a series of devilishly named drinks.]
No need to keep things strictly to this, however. Just let me know what you'd like and I'm sure I can get it for you. [He gestures to the bottles lining the bar on the tender's side.] Or feel free to simply take what you please. I'm certainly not going to judge.

caroline forbes + elena gilbert | ota
and while elena gilbert is admittedly in no real mood to party, she also knows from experience it is impossible to say no to caroline forbes. besides, elena has an in with the owner, and she agrees a distraction might be good for her. there's only so many nights she is allowed to mope around with her teddy bear. from the looks of it, though elena has no way of knowing for sure
yet, caroline seems to be in need of a distraction herself. it's tvd: life is eternally a shitstorm.they're as charming as ever in spite of their troubles, ftr: you might find them behind the bar, offering to serve drinks and asking patrons for their poison. you might find them dancing, welcoming anyone who wants to join them. or maybe you'll find them when they're each alone throughout the evening.
pls specify if you'd like an elena, a caroline, or both. merci. ❤ )
both!!!
Tequila. Always tequila.
[Why it's her drink of choice? No one really knows, but it gets the job done.]

it's why he collides with caroline on his way past the bar, a hand reaching out on reflex to catch and steady her by the elbow. his eyes slide to her face and he stills.
to say he's been conveniently never in her presence would be true. to say he's been intent on pursuing other trains of thoughts would also be true, not to mention an imperative necessity, complications of his love life aside. to say he's been completely successful in the latter—well, it wouldn't be fully true.
the shock can be easily read on his face; his caught breath in how his lips part to take a sudden one in. both of these things are incomparable to the awe present in his gaze and the way it softens his features. (he is still happy to see her.) after a moment, he swallows. ] Caroline, [ he greets, and drops his hand from her.

Both
Making a beeline for the dynamic duo;]
You know the bar on the fifth floor also has alcohol and there's a lot less stairs to get there. [Yes, Rose. A whole floor of them. When you're coming from the second like these two I don't think it really matters.]
Also, no dress code. [Because that's why she hates being here. Clearly.]

so damon is here, trying to act like he didn't come out to the club simply because he wanted to check in on her (even if that's the absolute truth). it's difficult to pull that off when he's hanging out, watching her hang out with lucifer (and caroline hang out with klaus. is the future gonna repeat itself? only in wonderland is future repeats even a thing). damon may have had his moment with the devil during the flooding, but lucifer still sent her lingerie so he's all territorial feeling despite the fact he has no reason to be (or right to be at the moment given the nebulous state they currently occupy). it just- he's been miserable, and there's nothing more that he wants than to get to spend this night with her, but he can't fix any of it.
ukw he's just gonna drink and be social, because he's good at doing that whether or not he enjoys it. he smiles like he means it and kicks back a glass of bourbon like he's suddenly back to his old, fun partying ways (he's not). he's always aware of her presence wherever she might be at any given time. ]

He watches as one Elena Gilbert breaks away from her blonde friend, and he moves to intercept her as she heads...wherever it is she thinks she's going in a hurry. Clearly, saying hello to him is more important.]
Look who couldn't stay away.
[His grin is smarmy as he lifts his glass to his lips and takes a sip.]
Your friend over there really leads to loosen up a bit. She looks like she's about to explode. [He might be talking about the expression on her face too.] Don't tell me you were already leaving?

Except he hasn't seen this yet. When he's seen is a closet that gives him some of the nicest tailored suits, that while a bit dated than what he might normally wear, they're sleek and sexy and the hardware he gets is just as nice. There's a pool and good food, a great beach and a bar. A nightclub even with neon lights, plush couches and a bar that definitely looked well stocked.
Seth came into Wonderland all bluster and four letter words but so far, wonderful mirror messages aside, he's waiting for the other shoe to drop and isn't see the downside yet.
Hitting up the bar for a double... and a second after he takes that first on in a quick pair of drinks, Seth turns to really take a look around him, wondering if one of the book's illustrious guests is behind this place.]
no subject
I'll trade you this drink for five minutes of you pretending like we're here together. [Not that... Rose being here with anyone would be a deterrent for Lucifer if he felt like talking to her but she'd done a very good job of avoiding him ever since their little trip to dream Wonderland and she was going to keep that up for as long as humanly possible.]
Oh - Hey. [Finally she focuses on Seth.] Almost didn't recognize you without all the dust.

That said, demons don't generally trust anyone. It isn't personal, but if you spent your entire existence just waiting to me stuck in the back with the metaphorical pitchfork or the spiky end of a harp (angels can be inventive too, don't let them lie to you) you'd have a hard time trusting anyone, too.
Crowley has spent a great deal of his time in Wonderland so far completely bladdered, and doesn't intend to change that any time soon. If he doesn't think about where he is, he reasons, then he can't worry about it too much. Of course, that train of thought doesn't hold up when put into practice and what has happened instead is that he has become increasingly paranoid.
So, what in Above, Earth and Below is he doing in a bar run by the very person he has been going to great pains to avoid? A change of scenery, mostly. It could be that his initial panic and fear has run down to a numb acceptance of the inevitable, or it could be that he hoping the Devil will (in)conveniently decorporialise him and that might just be that.
Tempting Fate has always sounded like such fun.
Most (all) of the time, he can be found in a quiet and classically shadowy corner, drinking quietly from a glass of whiskey that doesn't appear to be getting any lower. Who wears sunglasses indoors? This guy, actually.]
no subject
He still comes from the side, carrying his own drink and a bottle of whiskey so that he can casually top off the other man.]

Isn't a violin a bit more traditional?

Oh, I can play that too. Don't you fret about it. It simply makes it harder to sing.

Rose ][ OTA
When she's not talking to the people she came here to hang out with, she can be found making her way for the bar, preferably when she thinks that Lucifer isn't there which is why you may see her coming back with more than one drink like she has a drinking problem or something. It just makes good sense to reduce the chance of an encounter alright.]

[closed] luci u got some splainin to do
She really, really loathes having to be the bigger person.
Evelyn knows every inch of this mansion, inside and out, but there are still some places in which she feels a complete stranger. It may be the extremity of its contemporary style but Lucifer's bar, with its cathedral-like ceilings and dappled lighting - a church of its own, to another end - always seems mildly unwelcoming to her.
When she doesn't catch sight of him amidst the booze and pulsing music below Evelyn recalls a conversation wherein he informed her of his permanent residence. Up the stairs, far and sway from the action, Evelyn raps on the door.]
wat u talkin bout
It would be either quite early or late in the evening if she didn't find him downstairs during the busier parts of the evening, but his state is the same either way. He sitting with his feet up on his couch, nursing a glass of straight liquor, thinking. His tie is undone and hanging around his neck, his jacket cast aside. At least his shirt is buttoned all the way.
He hears the knock at the door and, without hesitating, calls without moving from his spot.]
Come in!

Lucifer
The club is certainly foreign in just about every way it's possible to be. It's unlike any place Anders would have the opportunity to visit at home, and that's maybe in part why he likes it--it's different, and only the Chantry believes that different means dangerous without exception.
Same goes for Deux Lux's owner. Undeniably different, possibly dangerous, and apparently an accomplished singer.]
Are you sure you weren't a choir boy in a past life?
[This coming from Anders after one of Lucifer's performances at the piano. He runs a nightclub, he plays piano, he's the Devil, and he can pull off a round of show tunes like nobody's business--is there anything he can't do?]
no subject
I'm too old for a past life, I'm afraid. I left the gregorian chants to the monks who apparently enjoyed droning on and on about Father's nonsense and usually getting it wrong in the process.

That's how she found herself wandering into the Deux Lux. She recalled a handsome charmer offering her a drink when she arrived. Lisa didn't want to be underdressed or overdressed, so she settled on a middle ground. She approached the piano with a smile.]
He sings, he plays piano, he owns a happening club, is there anything he can't do?
