Summary: Lucifer does what he does almost every other night - he has a party. Shenanigans and conversation ensue. This is essentially a catch-all for March for him. Let me know if you want something specific.
The Story:

[Once the drama of New Years dies down and he's drunk the entirely of his bar two or more times, Lucifer finally reopens his club to the public, seemingly no worse for the wear. He's chatted with a few specific people, reflected (marginally) on himself a bit, and has come to several conclusions.

All of which he'll be keeping to himself for the most part.

That said, he seems a bit brighter than even when he first arrived, as if there's a bit of weight off his shoulders, and he's almost less of a businessman and more of a guest in his own place as the nights continue on. He drinks along with everyone else, dances when he pleases, and plays the piano often, lending his singing voice more than occasionally.

Still, a few things weight on his mind that he'll need to take care of, but on the whole, he's quite chipper and easily approaching....or as approachable as the Devil can be.

That said, he's not seen a whole lot outside of his nightclub or his penthouse up the stairs, which means he might be a little more reclusive still than he first appears...]

it's that the subject is making elena's stomach tie up into knots, and it's why she is conspicuously silent on the matter. she knows now why tatia's blood was chosen by esther to make the mikaelsons immortal. she knows the cursed legacy that follows. )

No, I completely agree. It's not right. The doppelgangers weren't even created for that purpose, if the stories are true. It's just a ... complicated side effect.

[While the doppelgangers were created to die, they weren't created to be sacrificed. There is a very large difference.]

That doesn't disregard the fact that people should be able to act with their own lives as they choose to.

[Caroline would argue that it's still shitty enough that it doesn't matter if it's different.

She also notices that Elena is being strangely silent, and she's gonna take the hint this time.]

And on that not, I say we take another shot.

[Because more booze always solves problems and awkward moments, right?]

( elena already has the salt ready for them, but something is missing. something to bring the mood back up after doppelganger talk. ) We need better music. ( and since she has an in with the owner, elena is going to step away momentarily to make a song request.

[She is about to take her shot when Elena tells her to stop. She does, confused, and when the music changes she frowns, because .... well, let's just say her time in New Orleans has not exposed her to boy bands and she has never heard the Backstreet Boys.]

[Caroline looks positively overjoyed, her smile wide and bright.]

( elena repeats it after caroline with a solemn nod. )

[She laughs a bit at that, before taking her next shot.]

A lofty goal, I'm sure. Though I'm afraid I slept through the boy band era.

[She isn't sure if that's a blessing or a curse.]
