Summary: Come play in the snow, or drink hot chocolate in the lodge after Cissie's pelted you with snow.
The Story: Cissie's out and about, enjoying the snow and the lodge for the first two days of the event. Come chat by the fire with her, or get pelted by snowballs! Or try to teach her how to ski. Day 3 will find Cissie preoccupied with arguing with Tim and getting lost in the snow with Kon.



Day 1 and/or Day 2

Cissie is as thrilled as any of the younger citizens of Wonderland at the prospect of a trauma free snow-and-fun filled weekend. She can be found inside the ski lodge, spending some quality time warming up by the fires with hot chocolate (and extra marshmallows), reading or playing games, or otherwise being friendly and social. If she's not inside, she is outside highly invested in the snowball fights, or building snowmen. She'll give skiing a semi-successful try, and will never say no to some sledding. She'll get soaking wet, freezing cold and will love every silly second of it. She might actually even act her age!

[Closed to Tim and Kon] DAY 3: Their room in the ski lodge

[Cissie thought sharing a room with Tim and Kon might be the normal kind of awkward that comes with a girl sharing a room with two guy friends. The problem is that the last few days have been a completely different kind of awkward. Tim has been acting strangely... more strangely than usual, even for him. It's awkward and uncomfortable, and the tension has been building. He's quieter than normal, and Cissie's starting to get the uncomfortable anxiety that comes with knowing something's not right, and not knowing what it is.

So after a lunch filled with a lot of chatter from herself and Kon and very little if any contributions from Tim, Cissie shuts the bedroom door behind them and takes matters into her own hands.]

Okay, seriously. Tim. What's going on? You've hardly said two words to us all day. And it hasn't just been today, has it, Kon?

[Don't think you're going to get away with just sitting back and observing this discussion, Kon-El. You're Involved.]

[cloned]

[Kon has definitely noticed, but he's been awkwardly avoiding talking about feelings for a whole lot longer than Tim has. He holds up his hands.]

Hey, aren't you supposed to warn me before the Timtervention starts? [He glances over at Tim.] But... yeah, she's not wrong, dude. You've been more Bat than usual.

What--I'm not-- [Being Batman, because he's never going to be Batman or get that emotionally constipated.]

I'm fine. I just have a few things on my mind is all.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie sighs, and gives Kon a Look. Thanks for letting Tim know they've been talking about him, buddy. The sigh is also aimed at Tim, because do these boys have to make it so difficult to talk about what's bothering them? She moves to go sit on the edge of one of the beds.]

I don't think you're fine. You're not acting like yourself. Maybe we can help?

[cloned]

[THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO GIVE HIM WARNING, CISSIE. HE'S NOT A MIND READER. He gives her a look back, shrugging, then turns towards Tim as well, giving an encouraging smile.]

Yeah, man, we're here for you.

[He presses his lips together, frowning, then looks back at both of them.]

How old am I? When you're from?

[Cissie blinks, surprised by that. She hesitates a moment, wondering if this is some kind of trick question.]

...Seventeen. Why?

[cloned]

Sixteen for me. [But Tim knew that, didn't he? Maybe the actual age hadn't been discussed but Tim knew they were from the future.]

[He nods and focuses his attention on Cissie.]

Were you going to tell me?

day 1!

[henrydaniel]

[ Henry's getting hot chocolate, though it's prep for going outside. He has his coat and scarf on, gloves in his pockets. Now he just needs some inner warmth before heading out, and if he drinks more afterward, well, who's ever been put out over drinking hot chocolate?

His version of hot chocolate takes a little bit of doctoring, though, standing next to Cissie as e rummages for something. Then, he smiles in success when he finds cinnamon, sprinkling a little on top before topping the entire thing with whipped cream. Glancing over, he looks at her with a smile, holding out the cinnamon. ]

Wanna try it? I promise you won't regret it. Unless you're allergic to cinnamon.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie smiles, and takes the cinnamon from him, adding it to hers as well. She drops a few marshmallows in her mug before also going for the whipped cream. Hey, when in a ski lodge in Wonderland, right?]

Thanks. That sounds like the worst possible allergy to have. Imagine never being able to have a cinnamon roll?

That would seriously suck. Have you ever been to a Cinnabon? They're all over the airports where I'm from and they're seriously the best thing I've ever eaten.

[ Apologies to his mom's lasagna. ]

I'm Henry, by the way.

Cinnabon is a gift. [Which is to say that she's familiar with the miracle that is the cinnamon roll as big as your head. Cissie grins and offers a hand.]

Hi Henry. I'm Cissie. Enjoying our new vacation?

[henrydaniel]

You know, compared to Wonderland's previous ideas of a 'vacation' this is totally not bad and is actually pretty cool. Definitely don't hate it.

[ Though, he pauses before adding: ]

Unless we're being lulled into a false sense security before the Yeti comes or something.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie's got her mug halfway to her mouth when Henry says that, and she stops and groans.] Oh no. Now you've done it. When we hear about the abominable snowman attacking skiers, I'll know who's responsible for it.

[Is she kidding? Mostly.] So how long have you been in our fair Wonderland?

[henrydaniel]

If this place worked just by power of suggestion I think we'd all be in a lot more danger all the time.

[ Because he couldn't be the only one who thought of things from video games or movies or...even his own home that would suck to see in Wonderland.

At her question, he thinks for a couple seconds. ]

In July it'll be...wow, three years. Other than the three times I've left and come back after a week away. What about you?

[cisskabob]

[Cissie's eyebrows shoot up in surprise. That... is a long time. Even though she's known people have been here that long and longer, it still gives her a bit of a sinking feeling in her stomach. But she mostly hides that in her expressions.]

Wow, that's a... long time. I've been here about four months, I think? I haven't left yet, though. You really don't remember anything when you go back?

day 2

[Georgia can admit this isn't the worst event ever. But she doesn't like the cold and doesn't see the point in willingly exposing yourself to it for fun. Fun that mostly seems to involve playing chicken with gravity or throwing things at each other. Irwin fun. She'll pass.

Hanging out in the lodge, however? Oh, yes. She's been reading herself for the most part, sunglasses pushed up to the top of her head since it's not bright enough to read with them on, but she glances over when Cissie is looking at the game selection and smiles slightly.]

Actual physical non-electronic board games. I haven't seen one of those since my dad tried to teach me chess.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie's eyebrows go up in surprise, but given a moment to think about it, it shouldn't be so surprising. Shaun and Georgia's world seems pretty tech-driven. She shakes her head, squinting at the games a little more discerningly than she had previously.]

That is seriously depressing, you know. Your world makes me sad, and it's not just the zombies. ...We are not playing Monopoly, it takes forever and it's boring.

[choosetruth]

Unfortunately, we do still have that one. [There's dry amusement in her tone.] We still have most of them. They're just digital. Cheaper to make and easier to access that way.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie scoffs, shaking her head.] Digital. Cheaper and easier, sure, but you can't make up house rules and cheat when you're playing digitally. That's half the fun.

[choosetruth]

Sure you can. You just have to be more creative about it.

[cisskabob]

[Cissie shrugs, unconvinced, as she continues to look over the games.] Or a hacker. But it's a lot more fun in person. What games do you like?

[choosetruth]

Solitaire. [Her tone is dry enough to make the sarcasm obvious.] Board games aren't really my thing.

[cisskabob]

That is because you could maybe get a papercut from a board game and accidentally turn the night into a zombiefest, so it's probably just people like Shaun who play them, amiright?
