[Another library, kind of like the one that was in Ford's mindscape. Rather than investigating the books though, Fiddleford actually comes closer to the windows to take a look outside.]

Is this... a floatin' city?

[That's kind of neat. It feels like the sort of thing you'd find in one of the old science fiction novels he used to read sometimes back home...]

[ Elizabeth turns as she hears his voice, somehow not surprised to find herself back in the tower but also not surprised to find someone else in here with her. She looks out the window to take in the city floating below, remembering when she'd been so enchanted by it, before she'd seen its darker underbelly. ]

Yes, it is--oh! [This is probably her dream, isn't it?] Miss Elizabeth--I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to intrude on ya here...

[ She offers a smile, glad that she's not here alone. ]

You're not intruding at all. If I have to be back here, I'm glad it's with some company.

Really? [Huh...] Do you not like this place here?

[uncaging]

[ Elizabeth casts her eyes around the room, frowning a little. ]

As far as prisons go, it's pretty nice, I suppose. But I've had my fill of it.

Well that's a mighty strong word to use. [Prison, he means] Why were you not allowed to leave?

[ She shakes her head sadly, looking a little bitter over that fact. ]

I spent my whole life in here. I only got out on the day that I came to Wonderland.

Oh, gosh... I'm real sorry to hear that.

[That ain't right, keeping someone locked up in their house and not allowed to go outside.]

That's kind of you. I was very upset about it for a long time, but I think I'm all right now.

[ The mansion was still a prison, but it was a paradise compared to the tower. She had friends there. ]

Well I guess that's one good thing about the mansion, in a way? There's plenty of people to talk and relate to by comparison.

[For some people, it's actually better to be here than back home.]

Quite so. It's wonderful to have company.

[ She'd promised herself she was never going to be alone again. ]

It certainly is--honestly, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have other people for company here myself.
