Well yeah, obviously, but I'm just thinkin' about it from a scientific point of view. Would it possibly run out of hydrogen and enter the red giant phase much sooner than other main sequence stars, due to the amount of stress it's under-going in those circumstances...

I mean, probably, and the rapid destabilization would probably be fast enough to trigger a supernova event despite i-it's minimal size, but you're reading way too m-much into this.
