It's because there's no notable shift in him or the environment that Tim doesn't even realize that he's broken Wonderland open, just like everyone else has been this whole time. He's in his room, the same as ever - it was just his shit luck that split a rift open with the shutting of the door and tainted the landing like forked lightning.

It's not Tim you should be worrying about. It's the darker twin that lingers just outside the room, waiting for Tim to make his exit - or perhaps waiting for someone to stop by. It's practically indistinguishable from the real Tim Wright - perhaps bearing a color palette a shade or two darker and duller, on close inspection - almost an exact copy but for the cold amber glint of its eyes.

Don't worry. It's not here to hurt you.

It's just that there are grievances that need airing.
