[OPEN] You are lost and gone forever
Who: Nageki Fujishiro and You
Where: Hallway, Dining Room, and Library
When: Throughout the event
Rating: PG-13 (will change if necessary)
Summary: Nageki just lost his family to a bunch of humans. Now he's surrounded by them and his remaining brother is nowhere in sight.
The Story:
Hallway
Nageki isn't sure how or why it happened, but he must have been kidnapped. Was it because he was the last surviving bird in Hatoful House? The last thing he remembered was the humans who had broken into the Hatoful House. They'd demanded political autonomy in exchange for the lives of his siblings and himself. Nageki hadn't been able to do anything but helplessly watch while his siblings were killed right in front of him. Did the humans want him alive until they escaped the police?
He wastes precious moments frozen, unable to understand what is happening. Until he sees someone. If he sees a humanoid, Nageki panics. He stumbles backward in fright, certain that he's about to die. If he sees a non-humanoid, Nageki desperately says, "Please help me." He needs to escape and find his way back home.
Dining Room
Later Nageki realizes that he can't escape or go back home. But the reality of happened has also begun to sink in.
In the morning, Nageki drags himself to the dining room. He gets food because he knows that he needs to eat, but when it's actually in front of him he finds it difficult to eat it. He just isn't hungry.
Nageki chokes down one or two bites before he feels like he can't eat anymore. The rest of the time he just moves the food around and stares at it as though he can make it disappear through willpower alone.
Library
There was something nearby just a moment ago. You can see Nageki as he ducks between the rows in his attempts to remain out of sight. This place is scary to him and the people in it are scary as well. He's determined to avoid every person the mansion holds.
Sometimes, he'll peek over the top of the bookshelves to see what people are doing or where they are. Or he'll peer around a corner. If Nageki thinks he'll be spotted, though, he'll quickly duck away and stay as quiet as possible in the hopes he'll be ignored.

Hallway
Whether he pleads for help or is merely frightened, Legion will approach calmly, head tilting to the side.
"You are distressed?"
no subject
"I need a police officer. I... I was kidnapped." He glances around as though his kidnappers might jump out from the walls at any moment.
no subject
Their programs debate: a rapid-fire process that involves sharing accumulated data and their varied perspectives on it. They have been tasked with ensuring safety of residents. This is not the same as a police force. It is similar to a police force. It is not a police force. This bird is seeking safety, possible return to universe of origin. It is their job to provide the former. Law enforcement would not be able to provide the latter.
Consensus: For the purposes of assisting this bird, they are an acceptable substitute for law enforcement.
The entire process takes less than a second. A few more seconds are spent figuring out how to act.
Consensus: They are unable to contact known allies. They must act on their own.
Consensus: Though lying might improve morale, such improvements would be temporary: he will eventually discover the truth.
They chatter, then finally speak.
"We have been tasked with ensuring safety of those who have arrived in this location. An anomaly has occurred: other "authorities" are largely incapacitated. It is unlikely we will be able to return you home at this time, though we are otherwise willing to render aid."
no subject
"I... I have to get home. My brother... I h-have to let him know I'm alright," Nageki tries, and fails, to hold back a sob. "I'm from Hatoful House in Little Dove Hachiman."
no subject
They seem remarkably calm about it, at least.
"This location is anomalous. Time does not pass while you are here."
no subject
The robot looks like something out of a sci-fi novel, too, come to think of it. "Are we trapped here forever?"
no subject
And yet, here they are, in front of you, Nageki. A sapient robot.
"A hypothesis: This location exist outside of our universes. It is able to remove and reinsert captives at the same location on the timeline."
They chatter.
"Periods of captivity typically last a few months to a few years."
no subject
"That's... a long time." He can't imagine spending months here. He'd never been away from home for more than a day before. "Do you know how long I'll be here?"
no subject
They were a little too good, in fact, given that they hadn't intended the Geth to be Sapient.
"Negative."

"Um. Sure? How can I help you?"
no subject
"I need to find the police. I was kidnapped and I don't know where I am." The police will make things better. They can help Nageki find Hitori and let the older bird know that Nageki is still alive. They'll catch the humans who kidnapped him.
Nageki sniffles.

Sunburst shifts, a little uneasily, glancing around them as if he's expecting something awful to descend onto them at any minute. Who knows who or what is listening, after all.
"Apparently this place is called Wonderland? They say the land itself stole us. But I don't know, there seems to be an awful lot of those human-hings around and they have all the answers. Either way, I don't think there are police here to find".
no subject
"Did..did the... humans seem dangerous?" Nageki asks, though he isn't sure if a unicorn would recognize a gun.
He isn't sure what Sunburst means when he says the land stole them, though. It's not like land can do anything on it's own.
no subject
but they didn't seem all that threatening. They didn't have any of the usual apex-predator worries an Equestrian has to deal with when a threat descends.
"Not really? They don't have sharp teeth or claws or dangerous magic or anything? They're just like hairless monkeys. I mean, they're no timberwolves."
no subject
He pauses awkwardly before moving to his next question. "Have you seen another bird?"
no subject
He might have been deciding to try and sequester himself away back home, but he can see that's not a wise choice here.
no subject
They'll need it later and it's better to start searching before they absolutely have to. Especially with how often Nageki needs to rest. His body is pretty weak.

"... Nageki?"
no subject
He's younger than the Nageki that normally is in the library, only a couple years out of chickhood. He's tense and looks ready to bolt at a moments notice. He asks uncertainly, "You know who I am?"
no subject
"Cuuute! You're so cute, Naegeki!"
no subject
...
Well... it's not hostility. Nageki relaxes a little. "Did Hitori ask you to find me? Or the police? Is that how you know who I am?"
He's been told that he's in Wonderland, but he's not sure he believes it yet. It just sounds too fantastical for a younger Nageki.

"Oh." His disappointment is clear; Nageki had really wanted to go home and Mikan's answer is as good as a no.
