Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us no more | OPEN
Who: E V E R Y O N E (Including our 4th wall guests!)
Where: Everywhere, one both Mirror and Real Side!
When: December 19th - December 26th (ICly December 25th) (WEEK TWO)
Rating: PG-13, warn if going higher
Summary: After a particularly intense week of holiday cheer and holiday scenes, Wonderland simply cannot take any more. The form it takes will no longer hold. Wonderland sheds its holiday skin and remains in the barest form of itself.
The Story:
As of the 19th, no one will be able to use the network to make posts. A new error message will appear on all screens, but again, it's probably fine.
This will quickly prove to be a problem though, as Wonderland has completely abandoned any sign of the signature mansion or its grounds. All of a sudden, it cannot hold itself together any more. At this point, Wonderland has become a series of holiday past, present, and future scenes instead of a collection of rooms, and none of them connect together in any sensical, linear way. If you find a friend wandering, you may want to stay with them. It will prove difficult to seek out people on purpose (though very easy to stumble across people by accident).
In between the various scenes, instead of the halls of the mansion, are one of three voids. Gravity does not seem to exist in them, and characters will float, swim, or spin around until they find a new scene to be in. There is no up or down, and no ground to stand on. Scenes are entered suddenly and without warning, going from floating along to suddenly standing in a memory or a vision (unless you have come from the second void). Characters can also find themselves traveling from void to void, but there is no precise place where they overlap, and if they turn around they will not be able to return to the void they were previously in. It is almost as though perhaps, the voids and the scenes are moving around, and that Wonderland no longer has a static form.
Wonderland will remain this way until the end of the event. What happens then? You'll have to wait and see. ♥ For now though, please enjoy the horrible voids that make up all of Wonderland at the moment. If you have any questions, please report to the plot post or check out our Fourth Wall Masterpost for all your other fourth wall needs!

Soos | Fixin' It with Soos | OTA
[It was, like, white around here a second ago, right? Man. He wishes he had somebody to bounce this off of. Or something to bounce off of for real. You get some weird cramps when you don't have anything to stand on.
Aaaand time starts being extra hard when everything's just dark, it turns out. Kinda like up in Alaska, probably. But it's definitely been a while. Soos curls up a little, because it makes him feel better. Not that he feels bad, but. Like. It's dark.
Reeeeeal dark.
Soos starts humming to himself.]
Blanchin' in a mansion...doot doot doot...
[It's not...really helping. Maybe he's just asleep? But that might mean...
OH NO. He knew somebody was after him! The British dog man's totally right over there! RIGHT THERE! And Soos is all floaty and he can't swim so good and oh God oh God he's got TEA--
And then Soos peeks over his shoulder in his rush to get away a tenth or twentieth time and he's...gone? Just. Gone. Like he wasn't there in the first place. Soos stops swimming, panting hard as he turns in a circle, just to be sure that that weird dog dude isn't--]
AAAAAAHHHH-- Oh. You aren't a dog. Phew. Totally thought you were a British dog for a second there.

In the end, who knows what brought her here, but she suspect she knows because for the first time in ALL the time she's been in Wonderland, that song is in her head again.
IN A VAST EMPTINESS LIKE THIS IT WILL NEVER LEAVE.]
What did I tell you about singing that awful so... SOOS!
You're here, Dude. Wherever this here is. Also, there's a talking pony but no British dog that I've seen. Yet.
[It is Wonderland, after all.]
no subject
[Soos does another quick check around. Nope, no dog. No ponies either.]
Talking pony, eh? Sounds spooky.
[He wonders if that was a figment of Wendy's imagination like the dog was of Soos's. At least, he thinks it was a figment. He supposes he won't know until he wakes up or...doesn't.]
So you don't know what place we're in either?
no subject
[She supposes if she didn't actually know him.]
It's supposed to be Wonderland but... it doesn't usually look like this. I'm not sure what this is.
no subject
[He shakes his head, remembering.]
Those people went cuh-razy. Mad as hatters, you might say.
no subject
[Which is the bst she's figured out so far.]
Though Mr Pines is here, and so are the twins.
no subject
[He knew he had a bad feeling about this place. All...dark. And full of people with dog heads and fancy clothes. Probably.
Soos brightens when she mentions Stan and the twins. That's a good sign. Even if this place is super scary, he knows the mystery twins will save the day or whatever.]
Cool. Should we go find them or something? This place seems....big.

did someone order Giffany--i mean Monika
Yeah, no. These voids were very NOT FUN. They hit a little close to home. Literally.
There's a little shriek when she bumps into Soos. The latest hallucination had been particularly scary, enough that she'd somehow managed to launch herself with some considerable force. ]
Well, that's kind of rude. [ Her lips pucker into a pout. ] I'd really hope I looked nothing like a dog!
[ She shakes her head. ] Sorry. You okay?
giffany you look even more terrifying and powerful than usual
[Pause.]
Like, in a good way.
so sweet~
[ Monika squints and thinks on that for a while. It's a weird compliment. Like, is he saying she looks oily?
Hmm. No. Maybe...he's saying she's like sunshine on a cloudy day! How nice! ]
Well, thanks! I hope I can make things nice and bright for you~
[ Which, speaking of... ] But seriously, though. This place is creepy, and I think I'd know creepy. Endless space voids are never good.
no subject
[But that's probably just because she looks like a schoolgirl.]
I can't figure out how to get out of here. I was in a less creepy void before, but it's like it vanished. If it ever existed at all.
[Wow, yeah. Creepy.]
no subject
[ She killed her friends. There's a difference. ]
Everyone has a choice in whether they want to love someone or not. You can't force it. She wasn't a very nice computer girlfriend if she did all that!
[ Clearly, she is the model digital girlfriend. He should listen to her. ]
Did this happen recently? Are you okay?
[ The endless voids can wait a moment! ]
no subject
It was a couple weeks ago. And I think I'm okay. Me and Melody have been video chatting and I think that's the internet age equivalent of going steady. Y'know, with a real girl.
1/2
SOOS! [Everything is terrible but man is it good to see Soos again. Dipper's missed him.] What is it with you and that dog man?
2/2
Shhh. You don't have to rationalize your fears, Soos. This is a safe space.
[actually it's the opposite of that, but shhh THERE IS A SOOS.]
no subject
Dudes! It's so good to see you. And like, anything that isn't darkness, to be honest.
[He hangs onto them, since he isn't 100% sure they might not just float away if he doesn't.]
If I'm being honest, Hambone, this don't feel like a safe space.
no subject
[That much is true. Dipper might be curious, but he knows Soos. If he was going to judge Soos, there are so many better things he could judge him for.]
Do you remember Wonderland? Do you know what's going on?
no subject
[He pauses, then narrows his eyes.]
Are you two a figment of my imagination? Legally you have to tell me.
no subject
[She's gonna try to lick her elbow. And fail.] See? [She says... with her tongue sticking out.] If I waz ur imaginashun, I could lick muh elbaw.
[She is gonna... keep trying now. This is now science.]

Soos?! When did you get here?
[He says it as though Soos should have immediately found him somehow, but there's no hiding that he's actually very, very happy to see him.]
no subject
Uh. I dunno! Not quite sure where here is, though.
no subject
[As though that's harder to believe than their current gravity-defying situation]
no subject
And then it fell through the mantle of the Earth?
no subject
[Said without much fanfare, as though this is just another annoying thing that could have plausibly happened to them at home - and that's probably fair, given where they're from.]
no subject
[As if he knows any.]
