Summary: As the Gryphon announced, there is an event. Everyone is now living as if one regret they formerly had no longer exists.

[Kiyotaka Ishimaru rises bright and early! One can easily find him almost anywhere in the mansion. Throughout the halls, dining room, one of the tea rooms, the diner, the library, the grounds. No matter where, he'll greet the person in question with a chipper smile.]

Hello there! The day is off to a bright start, is it not? But we should not become complacent! Let us all work hard and do our best to find a way to get back home! By working together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish!

[He's pumped to get back home and optimistic about his chances. Because, as he currently recalls it, he managed to help prevent a murder from occurring back at Hope's Peak. It's left him with an everlasting high of optimism. He's sure that, with the power of teamwork, he can both return home and put an end to Monokuma's killing game once he's reunited with Mondo!]

Good morning to you, too.

[Sorry if she's not returning the optimism that much, she's not much of a morning person today. Maybe it's the event or maybe it's just Junko being Juno, who knows?]

Don't know if I'd really call this a bright start though.

[It seems like every other day in Wonderland so far. But she hasn't spoken to enough people to notice something's up yet, so she thinks the event is still off in the distance, drawing despairingly nearer to Wonderland.]

How could you not, when the Sun is shining so brilliantly? [He says, gesturing in the direction of wherever the nearest window is, even if it's not in this room. His optimism burns like a strong contrast to how relatively subdued his energy was before this event.]

Enoshima-kun, we are at the start of a new day! Who knows how much we can accomplish before all is said and done? The answer could easily be quite a lot!

All right, I'll give you that one.

[Yeah, okay, he's oddly optimistic even for him. Or well, the him that she knows here, he's probably more optimistic at her canon point since all the mystery and murder hasn't happened yet.]

I guess we could accomplish a lot today.

[But she's not getting her hopes up.]

[He raises a fist triumphantly.]

Now there's the spirit! Anything is possible, as long as we do our best! Now, where should we start for today? With an intense study session?! [He exclaims hopefully!]

I don't know, I don't think we're going to find a way out in a book.

[Sorry to crush your hopes, buddy.

...oh wait, she's not sorry at all.]

Ah...! [He quickly recovers from that point, however.] Hold on, Enoshima-kun! You cannot say that for sure! It remains possible that, through our studies, we can come across whatever answers we need. After all, hard work is the force that can make anything possible!

Yeah, but what are the odds Wonderland's going to give us the information to get out of here?

[Even if it did...]

And are you really in such a hurry to get back to being trapped in the Academy with Monokuma?

The odds may be low of vital clues being provided to us, but it is not impossible! Even the most powerful of beings are capable of oversights and mistakes! [He knows that all too well, from the example of his grandfather.]

And, while I would hesitate to say that I would rush back, I do look forward to returning home. We may have suffered losses, but I feel sure that we'll be able to turn the tables on Monokuma before any more murders occur! Once I am back home and with my bro, I just know that together we can conceive the perfect plan to seize our freedom!

[Yeah that doesn't sound right to her. He's way too different, so either this is Mirror Ishimaru or way more likely it's an event. Which is despairingly interesting to her since this is her first real experience with these sort of things.]

[Since she's pretending to be from an early (by his experience) point in their school life, she hasn't the faintest idea who that could be. Having attended school with him for a while, she could easily guess it, but if she just threw out the right name it'd be weird.]

Do you mean Naegi-kun?

[She looks confused, like she's not sure of her own answer. Or about him saying bro, for all she's pretending to know that's a weird new development.]

[Ishimaru blinks and then responds with a hearty a laugh.]

Ahahaha! Not exactly. To be clear, Naegi-kun is a very reliable young man who has helped me to understand such concepts as the path to friendship, and he has some skill at cracking a case! I would call him a dear friend and a valuable ally. However, the brother of my soul is someone quite different. This might be a bit unexpected to you, but the person in question is none other than Mondo Oowada!

You and Oowada? That's surprising.

[Not really, but she'll pretend it is.]

I mean you guys seem like you'd butt heads more than anything else.

You would think that! To be honest? At first, that was all that we did! But that caused us to take part in quite the hot-blooded challenge. As we competed in a contest of endurance within the school's sauna, a bond stronger than blood was forged! We saw that we had quite a bit in common, and we decided to be brothers! There is nothing that we cannot overcome... including being separated by this place. And also including Monokuma!

Really? Man, I'm not in a hurry to get back to all that, but I can't wait to see that.

[There's a big smile here like she definitely couldn't be one of those losses he mentioned before. Or perhaps it's more accurate to think that Junko Enoshima isn't one of those and not necessarily her.]

[That does trip him up, and his smile fades as he's reminded of one flaw in his plan. If he returns to the exact moment that he left, then Junko could still be condemned to death. As would Sayaka and Leon. He's quick to try to cover himself up.]

A-ah, well, of course we should not rush it! In fact... it might be better to find a way to return at an earlier time to begin with! Then we could stop the whole mess from starting entirely!

Earlier? Can that happen? I mean it'd be great to stop Monokuma before it happens, but I don't know wouldn't that mess up the timeline or something?

[She's not from the Spike Chunsoft franchise that addresses things like this so she'll ask this like she really has no clue. Which is pretty easy because time travel's not really something she's put a lot of serious thought into.]

Well, ah... The good thing about Wonderland is that here, anything is truly possible! So the plan has some bugs to iron out, b-but I feel confident that eventually we can set a 'go home and save everyone from death' plan set into motion!

All right, if you're sure.

[Big smile from her.]

Then we can definitely do it!

[Whether it succeeds or fails, she can only see despair in this plan's outcome, so of course she's going to help.]

Then consider the matter settled! [Ishimaru's smile returns, bolstered by Junko's reaction, and he joyously claps his hands together.]

I am glad to be able to count on you, Enoshima-kun! I will be sure to keep you updated on any plans of mine as they develop!

[Well, that sort of optimism is what Dorian needed right now. Similar goals might have something to do with it.]

So it is! Have you come up with any new escape plans recently?

I am sorry to admit that I have not! However, I am studying and working hard to learn every last fact that I can! I am confident that, eventually, I will learn enough to put together the absolute best plan for escaping from this place!

[Dorian smiles at the boy's enthusiasm, but he can't help but think there might be something off...

Or it's just his imagination.] That sounds absolutely wonderful! I'd help you if I could, but it feels I'm woefully behind on the state of things.

Is that so? Do you require help getting yourself caught up?
