[ OPEN ] incomplete;;

Who: Yotsuba Koiwai and whoever decides to join her.
Where: Outside of the mansion in the rain.
When: Anytime. Preferably during the day because her Daddy always told her never to go out when it's dark. :c
Rating: G. Preferably because this little girl is protected by waaaay too many big brothers (and a Daddy) that will pummel you if you try to corrupt this little one. :|
Summary: Yotsuba likes the rain. She likes watching it. She likes splashing in puddles and her favorite pass time is running around in it while it happens.
the Story:

[ Anyone who passes by any of the windows on the first floor should do well to note the scene they see through the glass. ]

It's a very good splash, at that; so good in fact that a gob of water jets up to smash neatly into Vexen's face.

His expression isn't precisely dark, but the water dripping off his nose makes him a rather pathetic sight. "...Yes, I see you're enjoying yourself." At least she isn't running around in the middle of an actual storm. He wonders if he'll end up having to accompany her around.

He almost steps back to avoid getting splashed again, then remembers that doing so will take Yotsuba out of the shelter of the umbrella-- so he stops, and suffers the unwanted moisture in silence. At the not-quite-question Vexen pauses, not sure how he can manage to word his response in a way the little girl can't take issue with-- an assent that really isn't one, in the end.

It's a little difficult with Yotsuba radiating expectation at him, and he has to resist the urge to avert his eyes.

"I'm not very good at playing."

That, more or less, is the answer he was hoping not to hear. Vexen winces, though he does a good job of hiding it.

"While I appreciate the gesture," he begins, delicately, "I don't think that's really necessary. I'm perfectly happy just standing here." Though he scowls. "You should at least have a raincoat."

For a moment, Vexen considers pointing this out to Yotsuba, then sighs. Audibly. That would probably be an exercise in futility. Common sense reasoning isn't exactly going to help him, here.

"Boots are good," he murmurs, "But an umbrella or coat would be better." The little girl, so far as he can tell, is soaked, and he briefly wishes his abilities ran more parallel to Demyx's. Anything he could do now to wick the moisture off Yotsuba would end up chilling her.

Speaking of which.

"I'm sure Demyx would be worried to know that you're out here on your own." Hey, no harm in trying to appeal to her better nature, right?

"Somehow, I doubt playing in the rain is what he meant." Vexen can imagine Demyx's reaction to the sight of Yotsuba out in the rain; briefly, he wonders if his criticism of the musician during the event he'd rather not think about might have been justified. He wonders if that cube has been incinerated yet.

...But moving on. He blinks as the girl tugs at his sleeve, surprised enough to step forward a little before he realizes what she's pointing at.

"'A fun puddle'?" he echoes. Vexen isn't very good at picking up hints.
